Because you’re painting anyone who in anyway enjoyed that old style of play as an elitist that just wants to hold other players back. When actually a lot of us… don’t hold that mentality in anyway shape or form. Just like there are mythic raiders today who view anyone below mythic as trash… there are also mythic raiders who actively seek to help others and are incredibly friendly.
Why am I getting defensive? I enjoyed that old style of game, yet I wouldn’t exactly call myself someone who enjoys excluding others. Heck, I’d be there trying to figure out how to help others reach their goals in the content…
Maybe don’t let a few clearly stupid posters bias you against an entire population. Don’t LFR players hate it when people refer to them as AFKers? It’s the same thing…
Long story short… stop generalizing and be more specific and precise with your words.
