I love the idea of someone taking a calculator against a massive simming program that is corroborated by the very best players in the game and being surprised when they’re laughed out of the room.
Also, I can guarantee you it’s your attitude that got you banned, not your stance.
If you just went into the discord and said “hey, what do you think of this talent build”, they’d give you an answer.
Considering your abrasive approach you’ve displayed here, it’s obvious.
Zero faith you’ll ever come to understand this, unfortunately. Everyone else is the problem. Not you. Obviously!
No, I was warned once for talking about AC and similar talents. A TWW patch came out that buffed AC, and I was talking about using Lightsmith for an AC build, and then got banned.
Extends the duration of all of your heal over time effects on friendly targets within 60 yards by 6 sec, and increases the rate of your heal over time effects by 25% for 6 sec.
Do you skillfully use flourish to extend to preevent fall off? Do you use it to assist with some burst damagee causing your heals to tick faster? Did you make sure you ramped multiple hots on players to make suree it had maximum effect?
Summon a whirling tornado around you, causing [(13.224% of Spell power) * 21] healing over 15 sec to up to 6 allies within 10 yards.
Just prss it every 14 secs no thought involved - stand near anyone taking damage to passively hear - its not like you are holding this for anything or setup - it makes no diffrence.
New changes mean you cant just run this all the time but it becomes completely passive in its effect - the same but different - no hit it every 14 secs even tho you might have a rsk reset and then had to feel likee you LOST healing. Thunder Focus Tea is off the gcd and its decision making process falls entirely into what you want to do right after you presseed it - prolly send on RSK anyway.
I made a talent setup and was struggling in S4 M+, so I went asking for advice. They told me not to run AC, veneration, seal of the crusader or any of those talents. They told me not to, I said I wanted to anyway. They talked smack to me a bit then told me not to talk about that build in the “serious” channel, and to not advise it to anyone in other channels.
So I didn’t. I occasionally showed them parses and things or asked questions and they yelled at me.
Fast forward a couple months, TWW patch notes come out, I was theorycrafting stuff based on Lightsmith working super well for AC. One of the mods was sitting there crying about how Holy Light is so mandatory to spam and bla bla and they’re goinna quit. So I proved that AC can do more healing than spamming Holy Light, they get super mad, like 3 mods start attacking me, then I get muted after arguing with them for like 30 seconds. Shortly after, banned.
Discipline Priest and Resto Shaman were amazing in MoP.
I play Holy with my priest since WoD. Switched my second main with Mistweaver Monk since .
Changes are welcome in positive way .
You do not get muted/banned from a discord for debating about builds. Somehow I expect, judging by your behaviour in this thread, that you were more hostile than you let on and that’s why you were banned.
I mean, I could always jump into the Pally discord and ask them myself.
Are you sure you want me to do that in-case they happen to have saved screenshots of your behaviour?
Sounds to me like you were in a “Earth is a globe and not flat” discord server, you kept mentioning you had some ideas about why the earth is flat, and people told you “it’s not, stop, at least keep it out of the serious discussion channel”.
You pressed on, they got tired of you spreading misinformation, and finally banned you. The fact you were warned alone tells me all I need to know.
I literally did. The mods there are extremely toxic losers.
They used that word too, “misinformation.” Even though I rarely get outhealed and do fine in all content I’ve done, even mythic raids. I just dared go against their precious meta.
These people know more about the game than you do. You’re just gonna have to accept that.
You’re spouting nonsense which might misinform other players while you refuse to listen to reason, and you wonder why people get tired of you and ban you?
People who have logs, and are successful with dubious talent choices are treated differently compared to people without logs, and just claim stuff.
We do have one person pretty much responsible for shaping how evokers healed in S2 because they got rank 1 parse on Rashok. (Going against conventional wisdom.)
