Why do people celebrate removing abilities, and making the game easier?

Is modern WoW actually fun for you guys?

I’m fine with repitition, I’ve been playing MMOs for 20 something years. My problem is when every dungeon is basically a copy paste of one another with VERY minor differences, when every class is 2-3 buttons and the only real difference is the color of your spell effects, and when raid bosses are also very, very similar to one another. WoW has had some great fights, and great class design, but Activision (now Microsoft) just doesn’t care enough to bother making new ones.
