because they have Goat legs. they are goats, from space. space goats.

Orcs dont have Pig legs. and they didnt crash land from space, they took a portal.

the space goats traveled and crash landed from space.

Orcs have no space ship. thus, no space moniker.

Orcs don’t have pig noses, tails or ears. They lack all of the iconic pig-features save perhapse the smell and bad temper.

I have never made the connection to orcs and pigs, never seen anyone do it until just now. They don’t have snouts, a curly tail, cloven hooves or any animal features.

However, Draenei have goat legs like a satyr, ram and goat horn options and cloven hooves. What are you not seeing?

Don’t count. Interdimensional portal travel is like stepping from one room into another room. Boring.

Ergo, you gotta have a space ship before you can be granted the “Space” moniker.

Because it’s much cooler to travel in a space ship than it is walking thru a portal. Unless of course they collide mid-walk and come out the otherside looking like The Thing from The Thing.

Cool for us, not so much them.

Because Big Orc special interest groups have dumped billions into running psy op campaigns to preserve their image, whereas Draenei are more secure in themselves and don’t care if you call them space goats because they know they’re still the best race.

Because nobody pays attention to Orcs. Draenei however are an endangered species which must be preserved.

Polite space goats leave the bleating for closed doors.
