I used to have a Hordeside parody guild called “Goldshire Girlz” and that was totally our schtick. Mostly on male toons. :smiley:

Because of our druidic nature we assume some features of our animal forms. My razor sharp teeth are just one benefit from my innate cat form ability.

I can tell you right now, that’s a misconception. Not all night elves are Vegans, example being is yours truly. :hamburger:

As for whether it be fashion statement or not, well i mean at least the fangs helps us chew… i think.

Because all elves evolved from vampires. That is why all elves have vampire fangs and why the vampires in WoW are elves.

Night Elves are not vegan at all, I would say they have a very balanced diet based on vegetables, grains, fruits and meats, usually deer or bear, sometimes those giant spiders if I remember correctly. I don’t think there’s any herbivore race in wow, even Tauren eat some meat.

Night Elves were supposed to be the half-way point between Wood Elves and Drow. Unfortunately for “some reason” - and that’s not me being dismissive, that’s literally the explanation offered by the designer ( https://www.pcgamesn.com/world-of-warcraft/night-elves ) - they were made purple, and that sissy coloration has since bled into the writing and representation so now the fangs look out of place.
