Why do Night Elf fans think the world revolves around them?

It’s not an exaggeration to say every playable race has undergone some sort of genocide, warfare, or other crimes against them.

But a treehouse gets burned down 4 years ago and the rest of the WoW player base never hears the end of it from Night Elf stans.

No, Sylvanas shouldn’t die or be made into a villain just because she torched Teldrassil. This shouldn’t even have to be said.

Wait, so you condone all of her actions?

Sus.

WC3 box art? It sold me and I can’t even play those games.

What a low quality bait right there

Because the warchief of the Horde committed the genocide, not some fringe-faction obviously-villainous NPC like Arthas.

It wasn’t just a tree. It was a tree with people on there. That’s like saying Hiroshima and Nagasaki were just a bunch of buildings.

I don’t believe there to be a statute of limitations on genocide.

They redeemed Jaina after the purge or at least never held her accountable, it’s story treatment Alliance characters always get

Elves in one form or the other has always been a central part of Warcraft games. Not as important as orcs and humans but definitely 3rd place.

Plus the story of WoW pretty much started with Azshara and what she did. Over the years some retcons and additions have happened but it all leads back to her.

So burning that tree was pretty big, much bigger than say destroying a small settlement like Camp Taurajo or something bigger like the Vale.

Im actually glad the Night Elves got knocked off their high horse for a change. And no it wasnt a genocide Night Elves had all the time to have their civilian population in safety but they didnt start until their hair was on fire.

I’m not championing any of the several whine rants by certain elf players. I’m simply correcting your statement. The entire WC/WoW story line was driven by elf lore.

It wasn’t orcs or humans that discovered the Well of Eternity. It was a clan of trolls. Did those trolls evolve into orcs or humans? Of course not, they evolved into elves.

Did orcs or humans learn how to channel arcane magic from the Well of Eternity? Of course not. It was elves.

Did orcs or humans attempt to summon Sargeras through the Well?

Did orcs or humans ultimately stop Sargeras, destroy the Well, and cause the Sundering?

Did an orc or a human destroy the Skull of Guldan and absorb Guldan’s soul?

Did an orc or a human stop Archimonde atop Hyjal?

Orcs are present on Azeroth due to elven actions. TBC, Legion, and WoD exist because of elven lore.

This is not an elves are superior or a Blizzard hates elves post. I am merely correcting your statement that elves are not as important as orcs and humans. Elves are the central plot driver for WC/WoW.

bait, but also.

jaina was holding sunreavers accountable so like… there’s that, yall like to complain about jaina being some evil tyrant lady, forgetting that you literally dropped a nuke on her city.

Everything Is bait. Rather If you take Tybrew seriously. It would seem he likes Sylvanas and doesn’t wish to condemn her. But perhaps different archetypes are attracted to playing different races and genders. This might be an honest observation about Night Elves from Tybrew. Or maybe not. /shrug

Alliance players seem to me to be entitled to everything in-game. This company bends over backward for night elf fans more than other alliance players. It on the company for their dedication to helping alliance players.

We just lose Darnassus. How about we burn down Silvermoon City and you wont access it anymore? How would you feel?
