Spent 5 weeks hunting my first rare pet and i disappeared. I was really frustrated but found another rare pet that i thought was cool so i went after that one. 9 weeks later, i got it! Now, again, my pet disappears and i had to find another one! Where do my pets keep going? Is it normal for hunter pets to keep disappearing? If thats the case maybe i need a new class!
If you’re playing Classic WoW, you need to feed them to keep their happiness up. Dismissing your pet or letting it die tanks their happiness, and if it stays bottomed-out for long enough, they can abandon you. (you should be keeping their happiness maxed out anyway since it gives them a damage buff)
If you’re playing Retail WoW, that “feature” doesn’t exist, so the only way that can happen is if you press the Release button by right-clicking their portrait or in the Stable UI (you also get prompted that Released pets are gone forever if you do hit it accidentally so, y’know, don’t do that). If you’re certain you didn’t release them, check your active Call Pet roster and your stables.
Im in retail and Phillip my pet is gone, never getting him back because I think it bugged out
Check the stable?
Is this also ililili? Feel free to say no, but it follows the trend.
If you are on retail, your pets shouldn’t be going anywhere. I would submit a support ticket.
Yea, check the other pets to find an answer.
I miss that feature.

Is your pet dead? Have you tried summoning it and it says its dead? If so, you may be entitled to compensation. (Or, you know, hit revive pet)
Should he call Brown and Croupen or Dewey, Cheatham and Howe?

I took your pets to live on a farm where they’ll be happy living with other pets their same age. No need to visit.
