Hello everyone. I was hoping some experienced holy pallys could give me some tips. I’m still learning and really struggling.
When i heal in BGs it seems like im really underperforming. I always get humiliated because i only have like 950k healing for the whole match. Im not kidding when i say DPS frequently out heal me, sometimes more than double my heals for the round.
When i pvp i try to follow a group so i can heal as many people as possible. I usually stay at a safe distance from the combat. I cast a lot of flash of light, holy shock and word of glory. I also use lights hammer for aoe heals as well.
When a dps locks onto me they can burn me down in like 2 seconds. Im so vulnerable.
Also i struggle with dungeons too. I cant seem to keep myself and the tank alive at the same time. I often die.

I really like to spam Light of the Martyr (specced into relevant talents) and beacon myself. Very strong instant cast heals.
When it comes to being focused, yea… I struggle with that too.
return to monkey go full crit heals.
Does this actually work going full crit heals?
at 32 chance to crit it looks beef.

melee wings easily tops the meters, you just need to get comfortable and learn when to get out and when it’s safe for you to go in. idk hpal bg healing comes with experience, make sure you have mouseover macros for your heals because you lose so much time clicking on frames
if you prefer caster wings that’s also more than viable, it’s just a bit more effort than melee wings AoE judgment /more vulnerable to being trained without teammate assistance
there’s a lot to cover tbh from basic to really intricate, what specifically do you feel would help you the most?
edit: is this in low level bgs? because 61-69 bgs are a complete and total disaster right now, more so than 70s, and at max level you’re going to get bullied until you have at least full honor gear

Yeah, i was in my 60’s when i was getting my butt handed to me. Now that Im 70 with full honor gear i still am not performing as well as id like. Still getting outhealed by warlocks, lol.
Do you have the recount addon? Could be helpful to see your healing breakdown during a battleground and spell priority
When i’m at PC later i can share the bg builds i run and give you a short breakdown of how i play the builds and what the healing meters should look like if that’d be helpful
