Shouldn’t the rewards be, you know, current currencies?
Maybe just Catalogued Research, Death’s Advance Rep, Korthite Crystals, etc?
I can’t deposit any more anima and my bags are full of these stupid 5 anima items

Why is anima an actual item that goes in your bag instead of just a currency?
What do I even spend anima on any more?
I’m 1K from cap…maybe it will stop dropping then.
it does not stop dropping them and it still eats up your dailies as a reward
I just full cleared Korthia and only got 488 rep with the Archivist’s Codex
got over double that in anima
that will be deleted
Ooof.
We need a way to transfer anima to alts.
Anima cap becomes annoying fast. There should be some anima sink somewhere…
I’m sure it’s some mathematical mobile gaming trick your mind system that somehow should increase player engagement metrics. I’m not sure how, but this explanation works for every other system in SL
The best explanation I’ve seen is that it’s to prevent the War Mode bonus from affecting it. Since War Mode can’t affect dropped items.
The better solution, to me, would be to remove all those silly bribes for people to turn on war mode in the first place. And just leave war mode for people who WANT to do wpvp.
My bags aren’t clogged at all, and I’m running Korthia dailies on at least 6 characters.
Maybe… turn in your items and deposit your anima to keep bag space free?
Why does anima have a cap in the first place?
If someone wants to hoard 100k+ anima let em
That’s the thing that REALLY annoys me - they’re dropping in those tiny 5-anima multiples from content that should just be dropping the big tokens, if at all.
And we can’t get them out of our bags till we trek back to the covenant, so they have to share space with the relic tokens we can’t turn in until we trek back to the relic guy, and on top of that there’s a whole bunch of other stuff that may or may not be useful… it’s infuriating.
I have the perfect solution for that: an account-wide “bag of anima” similar to the account-wide Soul Ash bag
haha remember a month ago when people were complaining that they couldn’t get enough anima and it would take TWENTY YEARS to buy the rewards they wanted
So, so, so, so much this.
One of the worst use of incentives I’ve ever seen. Just gets people to flag for PvP who don’t want to PvP and ends up creating a one sided herd immunity for a free PvE buff.
I still find anima a useful reward and will likely keep needing it for a long time to come.
(although I’m not going to defend it being capped or distributed in token form)
At the least they should let us buy the higher reknown items but just not USE them until we get the reknown ranks. There’s some nice tmogs and mounts i’d buy right now but can’t until SEVENTY.
??? Even with the boosts, it’s still going to be a long, long time before all my sanctums are upgraded.
I don’t know why Blizzard keeps trying to bribe people to do world PvP. Dead horse is dead.
Really? I found myself being forced to upgrade to avoid caps. I don’t have the offerings to buy the transmog, so I’m stuck upgrading everything to max.
It’s not just anima.
It’s everything.
Anima, relics, junk gear, and 20 different bits of gray trash from mobs.
And don’t forget the stuff that you can never delete because it just comes back: meat, cloth, even herbs. I probably have 15+ slots dedicated to stuff I don’t bother getting rid of simply because they’re just going to come right back, so any sense of “free space” is just a lie anyway.
With 30 slots free i still feel I have to spend time doing inventory management while out doing dailies and what not… I’ve never had this problem anyplace else.
