Takes an hour. Plus we’re doing visions again this expansion. Not N’zoth ones but xal ones I guess. I hope that lots of practice of previous visions will give us a leg up in the new ones
Mind control mechanics revolve around the cloak. If youre not wearing it, you are flagged as instant control. It was fun watching LFR at the time when half the raid was taken over once combat started and you have to kill them asap.

Well duh cause you are not allowed to do Nyalotha without the cloak >.>
If you’re soling old content you’re actually just immune to the mind control, no need for the cloak.

You do not need the cloak to do ny’lotha. In 10.2.7 the requirement for the cloak was removed and insanity mechanic doesnt do anything anymore.

I just did Ny’alotha on Mythic. I have the cloak, but it was in my bank and I had no issues in the raid.
Same reason blizz linked some world quests to having the heart of Azeroth in your bags

Yep, the cloak isnt required, you can lose all sanity and it has no effect and the Heart of Azeroth does nothing during the fight, and if you have the skip done on any character all characters on your account can skip to N’zoth ( well Carapace and then N’zoth)

Does anyone know the most efficient way to get the resources for visions? Please don’t tell me my only option is to loiter around uldum.
Trying to get the void edge illusion.
Just doing the emissary quests, running Ny’alotha, and running the invasions. You get a ton of echoes of ny’alotha that way, which you can convert into Vessels.
