I want to level in the human starter place to get rep.
You should be able to turn on Chromie Time to level in the human starter zone just fine.
Once you reach level 10. Don’t worry, it’ll scale up to you.

There is no legit reason to do this, it is designed to hamper something which isn’t a problem.
Is this a new thing? I’ve always been able to run to whatever zone I wanted to when starting a new character.

Haven’t tried leveling a pandaren since Exile’s Reach was added, but I would assume you have to do that zone now? And while I haven’t done the Wandering Isle in forever, I would imagine it easily gets you to level 10.
Either way, you should already be level 10 by the time you hit Stormwind.
All the standard races that aren’t playing a DK/DH should be able to hit level 10 and get out of Exile’s Reach in an hour (assuming you don’t pick, or don’t have access to the original starting zones at creation)
Assuming you have Chromie Time open to you, pick Cata as that includes Classic zones. From there, just start questing in Westfall.
In short: I’m failing to see the issue.
Just sounds like complaining for the sake of complaining to me.

What race/class?
For example, Panda’s have never been able to leave the turtle (Panda starting area) until finishing all the quests there.
However, I think if you had a warlock summon you or even a mage teleport you, that would work.
So, even now they don’t have an option for Exile’s Reach? Guessing that’s because they start neutral?
Warlock summons and mage teleports worked for any race that is locked to a singular zone, except for Pandaren… prior to the introduction of exiles reach, you couldn’t get a mage portal or warlock summon as a Pandaren until you left the turtle because you were neutral. And for the record Goblins are the only other race that gets trapped in a set location when going to their original starting zone.
As to the OPs issue… you’re prompted when finishing your new character if you want to go through the new starter experience or start in your races original starting location… if you have leveled atleast one character to 50+ before… seeing you are level 60, you should have this option already.
Pandaren don’t start neutral anymore… all newly created Pandaren must select a faction at character creation now…

Can’t you just walk there? I’ve always just walked to the zone I wanted to start in. (or had a mage port me there).
Ok, was about to check that out myself, just too busy converting Shaded Stones into easy gold 
So that also applies if they pick their old starting zone? Guessing it instantly locks you into whatever path you pick rather than asking you during the Wandering Isle.
Doubleagent really is a rare breed now. Maybe the last of his kind!

You can start in either your race’s starting zone.or Exile’s Reach.
There’s nothing to complain about. Not to mention, it takes about a half hour to finish a starter zone. Then go to Chromie and choose Cata. Then go to Elwynn.
There’s nothing here to be changed.
You have a choice of which areas to level in when you make a character.
Well, I do recall the Wandering Isle taking longer than ER, but either way it isn’t an obscene amount of time.
As I said: seems to be complaining just for the hell of it.
LOL, seriously it takes an hour to go from 1-10, in the time this thread has been going you could already be there.
The things people cry about are astounding.

You can make a nightelf and the portal to stormwind needs you to be level 10. I prefer questing in Goldshire to the nightelf place. Frankly I also dislike the new starter zone.
Not to a panda, before they choose a faction they have no faction and can not be summoned by either side.
It might however be possible but perhaps dangerous to summon a character out of Exiles Reach. Theoretically it might be possible but it might break your character since your pulling them from a legit tutorial zone.

Its a small issue which can use a small fix, just removing a 0 from the level requirement.
