Why do i keep getting "recovered item" boxes in the mail?

multiple times a day i get these. it’s annoying. they’re always 110 gear or greys i just vendor for a pittance. where is all this crap coming from?

i’m grinding rep to unlock lightforged draenei. if i wanted to waste my time vendoring all the trash that drops from the trash i’m killing doing legion world quests, i’d stop and vendor it. i just vendor it anyway, a more welcome thing to get in the mail would be just the gold value of it.

The Postmaster is very dedicated to his job. All lost items shall be returned!

But normal mobs are usually ignored. I think it’s just things like bosses and rares where if you don’t loot it all then it gets mailed to you.

I purposefully ignore greys so they don’t fill my bag and the postmaster mails them to me anyway.

And yet you know that the one time a mob you didn’t loot happened to drop a purple, he didn’t bother mailing that to you…

I have an add-on that automatically sells my greys when I pull up my vendor mount or go to a vendor. It also auto repairs from guild or personal funds.

It may seem like greys give a pittance but for me every bit counts.

I always get cheap greys mailed to me after doing Korthia dailies, there should be a req that they sell for at least like 50g before being mailed to you.
