Why do I have to help the Explorer's League exactly?

And where is the Horde counterpart, the Blood elven Reliquary in Uldum?

They’ve been rivals for expansions now, with quite a few times each one looking to sabotage or even kill members of the others.

So why in the name of Thrall am I suddenly not only greeted by a leading dwarf of the High Explorer’s League in Uldum, but they tagged along for me to help them gather relics and information about the Amateth?

The only way I can advance the assault storyline is by helping them apparently.

If this was even in the slightest turned around that the Alliance had to work with the Reliquary, the forums would be filled with blood curdling screams of horde favoritism.

This not only doesnt make any sense, it just seems plain lazy.

Genuinely curious. When have they been in the story? I played some horde in MoP and have played the whole horde story in BFA, as well as other horde stuff here and there, but I’ve never heard of them.

Blizzard would have had to put effort into it.

I remember killing a BE chick early on in the war campaign, maybe they can’t hunt down artifacts anymore cause of it?

i saw them once in tanaris and never again

Interesting. They do a terrible job at conveying that stuff in game. The explorer’s league get pretty prominent parts, such as alliance’s intro to uldir, so I know who they are. Playing through bfa though, I don’t remember even hearing about them on the horde side.

I recall them quite specifically and their involvement. One thing I enjoy is how the leader of the reliquary always hoped to find some solution to the elves addiction to magic.

But right now i’m suddenly friendly with the League and have been running around assisting an agent in Uldum as part of the storyline.

This is most definitely not fair or sticking to the storyline (especially when she keeps on interacting with me like some ‘old buddy’…which is clearly for the Alliance character).

Because the Tol’Vir know who the best treasure hunters are and don’t deal with second best.

It is rather crappy that again the Reliquary don’t get used at all.

Didn’t we help the Reliquary with some stuff in Legion?

IIRC, the Reliquary had Archaeology quests in Legion.

That must be what I’m remembering. I prefer doing quests with these side groups over just mindlessly attacking them because the factions happen to be killing one another again.

Hooking Horde players up with Reliquary NPCs wouldn’t cross promote Blizzard’s Explorer’s League Uldum Hearthstone xpac.

It is literally an expansion about a war and dividing lines.

The fact that during it I’m forced to work with the Alliance biased faction of relic finders…and provide them with powerful relics and information, is disgusting

so true. :crying_cat_face:

Let’s not kid ourselves, this expansion was always going to be about a Big Bad that’s not Horde or Alliance. Unless you wanna blame the Void Elves for N’Zoth haha.

I’m going to hazard a guess that they’ve forgotten about the Reliquary.
