Why do i get deserter for leaving a late joined lfr

I need Anduin and queue up for lfr and anduin is already dead so i naturally want to leave and requeue but now i have deserter for 30 min what is this troll system

Yup, like I understand they trying to help with que times and all but it sucks being after the tier pieces. I just wanted the helm; qued and they were on ryg so I went ahead and killed so I didn’t have debuff. Second time got Lords, also killed so I didn’t get. THIRD time also got Lords. Took that debuff and logged off. 🤷

Just gotta kill 1 boss to not get the buff.

I got queued up For the same 2 bosses I already killed And skipping the one I needed twice. I took that deserter debuff as a badge of honor. The fact that I can even get queued for only bosses I’ve done is a little silly
