Like, I constantly complain about the game being too easy and whatnot, right? I’m a meme because of it.
Why, then, do I enjoy aug? It’s probably one of the easiest specs, as much as I’d like to pretend there’s a lot of optimization you can do on it.
I just don’t get it. But if I can apply the same concept to other classes, maybe I could enjoy WoW a little bit again, you know? So any ideas?

It is my favorite spec for whatever reason, and I’m extremely picky about combat in games. I’d recommend trying it at least.

Lol I donno about that. Aug has been nerfed repeatedly to the point it was actually unplayable, and is now just BARELY playable.

If the game is too easy for you but you want to play anyway, why don’t you join Team Liquid, Echo, Method or one of the other eSport teams and get paid for playing?

Because they spend 400 pulls to figure out very easy mechanics. I’d lose my patience. I’d love to do mythic raiding, but I don’t want to prog with people.

Aug is great for that person who wants to be helpful but not necessarily shoulder the burden of carrying damage.
If done right the extra utility goes a huge way, additional damage and survivability. If it isn’t your finest performance and you did 10% worse than your last run then it’s still fine because your prescience carried the other dps to glory.
With all said Aug already had some sleeper builds and with the current changes actually is one of the best mob scaling classes in the game.

Lots of people who like aug do because it’s performance is a complete black box and therefore leaves the players impervious to scrutiny or with a layer of plausible deniability they can retort with if their performance is ever brought into question.
K, well, pre-Activision ruining everything, I used to main fistweaver, before that I mained frost DK and Boomy, had fun with them, so.
This is literally the intent of the devs too, purposefully made sure API functionality means that any normal method of performance gauging ingame is dead, horrific design in my opinion. The worst part is that it alterates the information I see as well though, the last thing I want to do is to have to go to a website online to find out what my damage actually was. That is so damn annoying whenever I’m playing a spec im not entirely accustomed to.
I do wish aug worked better with details. Kind of obnoxious to have to upload logs just to see how I’m doing.
I’ve heard the term “Girlfriend spec” tossed around a decent amount.
Ignoring misogynistic implications that someone who’s the girlfriend of someone else can’t also be good enough to justify their spot on their own merit for a moment, the spec does seem perfectly made for bringing someone along for the ride.
