I’m tired of the taming fiasco. Stop it!
Why do people love to harass hunters?
Don’t worry, as soon as every hunter has that Pet you can go back to your mount not dropping.
I keep trying to get a shiny excellent version!
Why did people love griefing hunters back in the day killing a rare pet mid tame to taunting us in other ways what goes around comes around.
Blame Blizzard
Blizzard could not possibly have anticipated the result of their ill-considered decision to make Oondasta tameable. To suggest otherwise is to suggest the dev team is just trolling us all.
I’m just going to say it outright.
Devs are trolling us.
As long as they aren’t taming it then releasing it only to turn around and tame it again then you should wait your turn.
There’s such a thing as good grief. Just ask Charlie Brown.
Hey, I only tamed it once.
Sure, there were some rude gestures from people as I rolled up one minute before the spawn and rode away 10 seconds after the spawn with Oon trotting happily at my side…but hey.
I agree with what others have said. Make it so you can’t tame the boss and add a mob next to it with the same look.
How about making the boss only tamable and adding a vendor with a 1 in 1000 chance of having the mount on it that you can check for once every 15 minutes? May as well, since that’s all farming it is now, click, click, dead, loot.
How is capturing a new pet griefing?
Or do what I did. Turn on Warmode and go there. There wasn’t a single person anywhere nearby and I tamed it immediately.
Usually PvP players are busy off in the current zones ganking each other, they don’t much care about old world bosses and zones.
Revenge for the 40 tears I have from the cata rares that have a loot table that consists of grey items.
That’s the polite way of saying it.
Seriously, it’s a mess.
I used to love revenge hunting people who ganked my alts in Legion.
It was… admittedly creepy, but nonetheless a lot of fun.
It wasn’t until BFA and the lack of enjoyable PvP that I found myself actually griefing people who were harassing me in my farm spots, etc.
Having the option to just destroy someone is strangely so much more civil.
Oh I see.
When people kill the mobs I am trying to tame for no reason aside from killing it, it’s totally fine.
But when I tame Oondasta just once, I am suddenly out of my lane and am labelled a griefer.
Kidding aside, if hunters are just taming it, than it’s not griefing. If you notice the same hunter taming it multiple times however, might want to report him/her/it.
The Oondasta tame craze should die down relatively soon.
