Why do forsaken npcs in dragonflight say 'victory for sylvanas'?

i know the real answer is that they’re too cheap to go back and remove/alter the voice lines but i thought it was a little silly in valdrakken talking to an undead npc who says that and all of the other old voice lines.

Kind of reminds me of the whole, “The Legion shall fall!” voiceline from draenei lol.

It’s really a question. You guys are slowly decomposing so you can’t really remember what happened

Blizzard isn’t known for updating thingsa. Costs money for new voice lines.

They I feel like every race deservers new voices. Some of them are ~20 years old and they removed so many of them a few years ago.

My guy, this is the company that made a Gnome innkeeper in Three falls Overlook provide the quest “Nothing for breakfast!”… what did you expect? Good consistent world building?

Admit it… you just NOW realized the inconsistency of a innkeeper who has an entire shop full of food complaining about nothing to eat, didn’t you?

they will reinstate Sylvanas as forsaken leader just to not rerecord stuff

Mine occasionally says “My life for Ner’zhul” :man_shrugging:t2:

They were quick to remove Ymiron’s breakdown during the censorship wave when it hit the frontpage of r/wow…

because the vast majority of forsaken pull from the same greet/farewell pool, and in everything pre-shadowlands sylvanas is still their leader.

as far as I know blizzard doesn’t currently have a system that changes the generic voice lines depending on what events a player has seen and or have happened. the forsaken and their releationship with sylvanas seems as good an excuse as any to get a system like this up and running, would be neat for some stuff that happens in the world to be reflected in the npcs around us.

imagine when we finally reclaim gilneas and all the npc in gilneas are still talking about how they’ll reclaim it someday.

Gilneans are anarchists confirmed… (explains why Genn Greymane is still hunkered down in SW)

For the Forsaken! all hail the Banshee Queen! :bow_and_arrow::skull:

Well they do have undead brains, so maybe it takes them a little longer to catch up than the rest of us.
