I have never seen Alliance rally once Stonehearth Graveyard is Horde controlled, a druid push, sure, but that rarely gets past Icewing Bunker. Only after SPGY is taken do Alliance try to get south and start killing lieutenants and commanders, then maybe burn Iceblood or Tower Point.
So my question is: why defend that graveyard at all? Horde “players” AFK there for 3-10 honor per kill until the Icelord, Wolf Riders, or back door team wins the game for them. It simply extends the game for another 30 minutes to an hour… and for what? If anything, this aids the Horde who get more time to play.
It’s a kill pit that’s surrounded on all sides by raised ground that the horde have easy access to, all within blizzard range of the spirit healer and with terrain that doesn’t block spell line of sight. We don’t defend it - we’re trapped there until the horde let us leave.

yeah, just give up so we can win faster and get back to our hour+ queue lol.
It was designed that way on purpose. The devs that play Horde put in many subtle differences like IBGY having a convenient ledge behind it you can jump down and escape from and Horde cave being closer to give them an advantage.

Golly, I don’t know. Why do horde blockade SH tower/gy so that not a single Alliance can get by?

There is plenty of time to escape under the bridge before horde block it off, but everyone has given up at that point. A couple spawns would be enough to flank the horde from behind or run south. Alliance needs to move as a group the whole time not just in the beginning.

This guy gets it. They talk about how the horde have an easy way out of IBGY … And you all forget the gaping exit vector under the bridge at SPGY. AV derangement syndrome.

What are you talking about? It’s super easy to get out of SP if alliance want to… but that earns them nothing because they can’t get past SH choke point. Maybe I am misunderstanding your point, but I don’t see what SP has to do with anything.

Subtle differences like the ability to bypass the entire horde base defences via terrain exploits, the inability for the frostwolf tower archers to actually attack usefully?

Let’s not act like it doesn’t swing the other way by being able to bypass the bridge completely by using the right path. AV is full of issues.
So all the horde are simultaneously at SP and SH?

In case you don’t really understand how the map works… yes. Yes they are. It only takes four or five horde to guard that choke point, and they usually do just that. Every 30 seconds they are reinforced by up to 10 of their fellow horde because the gy is right there. The five horde guarding the choke don’t even have to win, they just have to slow people down long enough for a rez cycle to bring reinforcements.

So you can not get 4 or 5 horde out of your way? Should blizzard step in and make sure people trying to get by one at a time can just waltz through instead of using teamwork to kill 4 or 5 horde?

The problem is that the Alliance isn’t even trying, and getting steamrolled by trash Horde groups because they want to sit at Stonehearth for…
…I have no idea how and why this even became a plan. But was pretty irritated by the fact they keep doing this every game.
If anything get Snowfall and then flood the towers. Skip Iceblood gy and get Tower point and Iceblood, defend those…
THEN they think rogues can fix the majority of the groups problem by ninja capping towers, not understanding it’s only a temporary distraction and won’t matter IF YOU’RE ALL HAVING GRAVEYARD PARTY AT STONEHEARTH.

So you didn’t even read before replying. Okay.

Almost like you do not even register the concept of teamwork.

I was going to reply to this idiot post… when I notice you on a void elf. Nuff said.
Pretty much this. Alliance players generally give up if something doesn’t go their way early in the BG. I haven’t stepped foot in a BG since I got exalted with AV. The alliance pvp community outside of premades is hot garbage.
