Where as Blood Elves with golden eyes are just handed to the Horde.
It just screams bias on Blizzards part to in addition to the fact there is only one night warrior option 
So you go through this lengthy cringe worthy anime esque scenario and are just given one option? Where blood elves are spared the tedium and get more than 2!!?

The problem is they overdeveloped this cringe scenario and under developed the reward. It would have been easy to develop

There was a theory floating around during BFAs beta That Horde and Alliance have two different development teams.
The Hordes development team are younger guys, fresh into the job with lots of passion and ideas.
The Alliance development team are just old school MMO guys who regurgitate the same crap for their paycheck and have no touch to the faction at all.
Iām just gonna go horde because Iām tired of all the complaining. Like dude itās not the Alliance thatās bad. Itās the fact that somehow believing that people playing Orcs, Undead, Trolls, Goblins, and Giant Freaking Bulls somehow arenāt going to be more inclined to PVP.
If a guildy reads thatās a joke Iāll play both.

You only have to do it once, and it really doesnāt take that long.
Horde has usually always had a stronger PvP community, aside from the few moments like in WoD where people swapped for racials.
Alliance always had a stronger PvE community, until Method and all our world first guilds left for racials, and never came back after they got nerfed.

Itās a smart move for sure. All thatās left of The Alliance are Casual players. Which isnāt bad. Just if youāre looking for serious progression you go Horde. I think thatās fine.

Iād argue the opposite. The night warrior quest line was simple, but fun and informative. Blood elves just getting golden eyes bothered me, and I would have much preferred a quest be involved that explains where weāre at and provides a scenario.

So you donāt disagree with the OPās point that the Alliance were given a hurdle to get X, while the horde were just handed it, right?
I donāt view a simple quest as a āhurdleā.
If a simple quest that takes 10 minutes to do is a hurdle, neither the OP nor you should be playing this game. I would have liked a quest for golden eyes as well.
