Was this outsourced or something? Why were the characters so off model and cheap looking? Liadrin and Lor’themar have never been portrayed with normal human eyes.

There’s the weird trend Blizz has been doing of homogenizing everything about humans and making other races more human.
Elves getting human eyes and worshipping The Light instead of any unique spin to it.
Tauren Paladins worshipping The Light instead of An’she (who was the entire reason Tauren Paladins existed anyway).
Worgen having more focus on their Human side rather than their beast side.
On top of that just the general lack of focus on the Horde. The gameplay trailer had WAY more focus on Alliance characters than Horde ones.
It’s a bafflingly infuriating trend that they’re stripping so much of the uniqueness of the world down.

Except this isn’t true, elves infused with the light have glowing gold/yellow eyes as Liadrin does now in game and in all of her official art. This trailer was just off model garbage. Which may not seem like a big deal but when you can’t even get basic details like how your characters look right why should we have faith they’ll get anything else right?
