I made a monk and she started at 10. Kinda thought maybe it was just a monk thing. But I just made a warrior and she started at level 10… Wait, is this a allied race thing? can vulpera not start at level 1?
Allied races start at level 10, as do demon hunters and death knights.

Yeah, you’ll have to explore exile’s reach on a standard character. I suggest a Worgen, Goblin or Pandaren, as then you don’t have to do their starting zones.

Demon hunters start at 8, and death knights start at 10. Not mentioning this to get on you about “oh lord someones incorrect” but … was it ever stated why death knights (55) start higher than demon hunters (100) but finish at/near the same level now (17)? I found this very weird when I first made a brand new demon hunter and saw the level differences.
Core race DKs start at 8 as well.

DK’s from core races were 55 and Allied races were 58 and DH were all 98 at the start.
I’m pretty sure the Exile’s Reach transmog will be purchasable at the BFA PvP ensemble vendor in SL.
There’s a boss in the Exile’s Reach one-time per character dungeon that drops weapon transmog, 2 of which are unique appearance to that dungeon specifically, and it’s not a 100% you’ll get something out of him. While the rest of the weapons are available somewhere else, they’re mostly BOE weapons and those have dismally low drop rates; these you cannot buy from a vendor.
The Worgen starting zone is my favorite by a mile

I tried it a few times. Wasn’t into it. I love the Forsaken starter zone best, but I’ve done it so, so so, many times I’m just done.
