“Why do 3 of the quests in isle of dorn give SOULBOUND profession recipes?”

I assume to make you do the quests over and over, to sap time from the player.

no its the quests you do while your leveling.

Yes. I think I remember a jewelcrafting one where some guy tricks some other guy and I wish I hadn’t done it.

Me: “But I’m not a jewelcrafter.”

Them: “Well that’s too bad since you just sold your soul for this.”

that one isn’t soulbound, pretty sure I have that banked for my alt.

If you delete the recipe, can you ever get it again?

Yeah, I’m not looking forward to doing the Korgran quest chain again just to get the engineering plans at the end.

Maybe some day Blizz will make a system where you can trade soul bound items among other chars on your account via a special bank tab or something. /hopium

Well then. Whoops. I deleted it.

couldve sworn the jewelcrafting one is soulbound. nevertheless my point still stands. why didnt they add quest gear instead?

The lack of good BoE’s destroyed this and DF expansion’s open world. I get it that Blizz wants us to use the work order system.

If Blizz doesn’t want to do epic BoE drops then why not a BoE mount drop like in BFA or a shirt pattern like in Wrath?

Nah I went and double-checked – I was wrong. It’s soulbound, yeah. Welp, vendored that.

The Jewelcrafting one can be purchased from Unak, Opalin, and Uthaga, but the questline can only be completed once per Battle.net account for some reason.

Wait. They do? Last time I saw that was back in Legion.
