I wonder if maybe he’s still being credited for Renzik, despite not actually having any lines in-game yet due to an ongoing strike. Considering the length of said strike, it seems unlikely that he’d have any work currently implemented in TWW, unless he was asked to record lines incredibly early before the strike began.
Justice for Renzik!!
…even if he is alliance…
He’s played other characters before, and the credits don’t break down every character being voiced, so it’s possible that he does have other voice work implemented for TWW for the opening patch. As for the strike, Ochman is far from the only SAG-AFTRA voice actor working on WoW who’s on strike at the moment. Travis Willingham voices Gazlowe and he’s both a union member and has been vocally supportive of the strike, and yet Gazlowe obviously has a voice currently. It’s possible (though I personally think unlikely) that voice work for Undermine(d) was mostly recorded before the strike began and only Renzik was affected. It’s also possible that Blizzard has an interim agreement with the union in place that would allow the actors to continue working on WoW during the strike without breaking strike rules, in which case Renzik’s lack of voice may be completely unrelated to the strike.
Personally, I’m inclined to think that some sort of bug or other technical issue happened, due to his lack of voice in other languages and reports that his silent dialogue can interrupt other character’s voiced lines. WoW has had strange bugs with voiceover before, so it would hardly be the first time.
He did amazingly in that story, didn’t he!
This is the worst bug I’ve hit so far in the patch personally
Who has time for Voice Actors when they can make another dumb mount macrotransaction to line their pockets with?
As always I feel bad for the 3 overworked devs who didn’t get fired by Microblizzard.
He’s just reaaaaally really quiet, being a rogue and all.
well, he isnt going to need one anymore i’ll tell ya that lol
