It would have been so beautiful and so revealing to hear the communal wailing of the coward Horde that rolled for perceived PvP advantages.
Problem with listening only to R1’s is that it only applies to their stratosphere of play not the “every man”. Its very easy to play Horde racials, where as playing Alliance racials only gets good at higher ratings. Most players are around 1300, that’s what I see and at that level I cant expect the “Every man” to be capable of playing Perception correctly or using Chastise correctly or anything like that.
Just because something is better (IMO perception is godly) does not make it functional for every player because the skill floor of the ability is to high for them.
This is why removal of racials is the best possible solution due to the FACT that it makes race a cosmetic option only.
No it doesn’t. Alliance racials are incredible and easily utilized well by average skill players. It’s entirely just a player belief FOTM thing.
Horde racials are comparable at average level too. It’s just that Alliance racials have a much higher skill cap.
I made a post a while back to TEST my fellow horde on their reasons for rolling Horde… They made very single excuse in the book about why they picked horde but defended racials every single time.
I am VERY willing to play the game iwthout Will of the Forsaken or Perception, I have rogues on both factions and both racials are extremely powerful when used properly, just that Will of the Forsaken is way harder to screw up using, where as Perception has a few different effective strategies but they are easy to make a mess of.
I do love passive abilities.
Question…
What do you see most rogues do (human rogues) in Arena? I see many just sprint in with Perception on; this is incredibly easy to outplay, but its what the average zugzug does.
Will of the Forsaken is very hard to screw up, it can also be played very creatively in similar ways to Perception, just obviously the application is Fear not Stealth detect / area denial / force CD’s. You know what im talking about. The point I am making is that Alliance racials are great, just they are way easier to the average Zugzug to make a mess out of, and at the bottom of the bracket where most exist its a weaker option.
I suspect this is why Horde is just so much more popular and thus more represented, also fear is very strong, especially in BG.
I play both, Horde and Alliance, I love both Perception and Will of the Forsaken, both basically hand you a free kill, just in different ways. In this Meta I rate perception as equal to Will of the Forsaken, because its not just Arena but also BG play and world PVP, those who only do one thing are missing out.
I’m just being a jerk. These clowns have pissed me off. They are killing the Alliance PvP community and everybody is apparently too God damn stupid to see why.
Are you ok, bro? Did you get enough hugs growin’ up?
Most of the Horde are extremely seliish and toxic to play with in BG / they RAGE like 7 year olds who need a juice box and a nap, and get all snippity over everything when the real problem is most of them are crap and blame their failures on everyone else.
The only racials that they destroyed was shadowmeld. Wish they wouldve just left everything like it was in classic but they kept everyone elses except shadowmeld.
Do you have a retort to his post? it’s pretty spot on
Look at it like this… The top 3v3 team is usually rogue/mage/priest. How do the alliance and horde racials stack up? That team comp is all about coordinating crowd control. Will of the forsaken is basically a second trinket. So short of a massive skill difference and/or luck, the all-undead team should beat the alliance team every time.
You think alliance are better in pvp? Cause I think almost every single person on the forums would disagree
Except I will sap your rogue out of stealth almost every single time and get a far better opener.
Idiots often think in large groups. It doesn’t make them right.
I used to run a double-stealth comp with a human rogue. It was great when going up against another stealth team. But if you fail to find the rogue before perception runs out, you’ve lost all of your advantage. Plus my friend usually burned his sprint trying to look for them. It was risky but paid off against bad teams. Against better teams, and on certain maps, it rarely works.
The people who swapped factions for racials are the same people who buy $300 basketball shoes thinking it’s gonna make them better
okay then bud
This is exactly what I would expect a Horde to say. Spoken like someone truly afraid to lose their advantage.
