I became attached to my blood elf paladin on a now dead Wrath private server. As I grew tired of my mage, and with the new blood elf models being pushed out, I figured it was a good time to try it again, and I never looked back.
The pets, especially taming a lion… lol Then there was the fact bm hunters got the exotic and spirit pets. I may play other classes for fun but beastmaster hunter is “home”.
My first main was a warlock. Then in Legion I started raiding. In the pre patch, I tried playing the DH which made me realize there are classes far more fun than the warlock. Tried Havoc, liked it, but then tried vengeance and loved it.
However in Tomb, I was doing too much DPS for my then co tank when I started caring about my DPS as a tank. Had to watch my threat meter. A single mistake and I would overaggro. It became boring to have to stop dpsing every now and then so my co tank could catch up. Got sick of it and rolled a tank that would do slightly less DPS. And so my DK was born.
It took no time that the problem did return however not as bad, but still present. But by that time I had realized how strong Blood DK was. And how much I enjoyed playing Uh and Frost(Outside of the Breath build). The class and no longer the spec is something that suddenly had a lot more potential to me and I eventually took my DK to Mythic raiding and defeated everything all the way up to Aggramar but could not kill Argus. Looking forward to bring her back in Mythic.
And thus I still main my DK to this day.
Been playing this character since wrath. My first was a paladin who I lvled to 55. Once I got him there I moved to dk since that was the whole reason for lvling. Been my main ever since.
