Guild needed a tank so we could start raiding, dropped my hunter and leveled up a “Guardian” Druid. Was pretty damn fun! Had some awesome raid saves as the offtank.

Just wanted to try something different. In the past I’ve mained a warrior, shaman, and druid. Paladin seemed long overdue.
The short version. First toon was a dwarf hunter. MANY years ago. I’ve mained hunter a long long time. I finally unlocked Dark Iron, so this is my chance to reroll. Shaman seemed a good fit for the race lorewise. Sending fire elementals to attack your enemies, swinging hammers, shields etc.
As to the class choice itself. I liked my mage alt but it was too squishy, I liked my warlock alt but I didn’t want to do another pet based class. Shaman has a nice “battle mage” vibe to it. Option for playing melee or ranged. Neat spell visuals and an interesting toolkit. And probably to two most important reasons, I like the class lore/mythos and I find it enjoyable to play while leveling without feeling like I have to rush to get a certain spell for it “feel fun” to play. I tried Paladin, but I kept falling asleep at my keyboard I got so bored.
Okay, the kind of short version I guess

Hi not me!
roll 4 characters bring em all to 340 minimum and try em all until 3 of em become more boring than the other.
simple really ; jut not time-efficient.
If you have never quested/done world quests on a rogue… or even going out to mine/pick herbs, you are missing out. Its like a whole mini game of itself when i am stealthing around sapping mobs to pick the herbs and stealth away, sneaking past tons of mobs to get to a WQ, assassinating the elite/rare and sneaking out undetected is just extremely satisfying.
I have a 120 mage/priest/warlock/dh/rogue but nothing beats the fun i have running around as a rogue! (the outlaw swishy sound effects are fantastic too!)
I didn’t plan for Truthspeaker to be my main, but the more I played her, the more I fell in love with the mechanics of warlock and I played her more and my other characters less. I play and level a lot of characters every expansion, but Truthspeaker is always my main.
Love the mobility of warrior. My fav char was Aragorn or gimley because of 2hnd axe or sword. Sword n board or big 2hnd to smash things
SUPER CUTENESS kitty cat!
Because BM hunter felt horrible to play this xpac
I like taming cool pets.
Because I hate what they did to arms warrior with the gcd
I like the Minotaur and the Tauren remind me of that mythological character. I also like animals so the shape shifting was a selling point and healing was just the icing on the cake.
Whichever class didn’t feel entirely gutted by the prune… I ground out my feral (which was like pulling teeth, she’s shelved until they unfrick feral damage) And I love stealth playstyles, and am now leveling my baby rogue. I really wish windwalker monks had stealth in their toolkit, I’d stick to that spec even though all the complexity is gone from it if stealth was an option.

At the beginning of Cataclysm a good friend wanted to level a tank, but he didn’t trust random people to heal him. He convinced me that playing disc wouldn’t really be like playing a healer (I was adamantly opposed to healing before that). It turned out that I absolutely fell in love with it (and healing in general), and shockingly to me I was pretty damn good at it… so here we are.
I played a cleric back when I played D&D, so it was either going to be a paladin or a priest. I made one of each and liked the paladin much better.
Now I have at least one of every class on both factions, but my favorite will always be my paladins.
I picked my main because at the time you could only have an alliance hunter as 1 of 2 races, and i’m not big on dwarves, so nelf it was. Then when the cataclysm hit my toon walked on in to the blizzard services department and became a dog man. Why? Because it took them that long to create the race i really wanted to play.
I love mages and I’ve always played a mage (or whatever the mage equivalent class was in the particular game), so both my Alliance and Horde main (this toon) are mages. In WoW the class has the bonus of having free food and convenient transportation.
“Main” is my Night Elf Hunter, Kybeorie (sort of.)
I picked it because it was Vanilla, so there wasn’t really another race to pick that I thought looked good.
This character was a “joke”, a Gnome DK with pink pigtails! I made it when DKs were introduced, in Wrath. Then it really grew on me!
Because I wanted a healer as people complained about dps in PUGS but they only ever complained about healers when dps die by standing in the fire and say ‘where are my heals?!’
