Why did you pick your class/race/faction?

Pretty simple question! Also why your race and why your faction?
Class: Never played a meele before and wanted a Dps.
Race: It’s a symbol for the Horde.
Faction: I don’t like to be the good looking and “good guys”.

Alliance human rogue.

Because we are responsible for Thralls erotic torture which turned him into a quitter and cheater in duels.

I was a dwarf Paladin back in wotlk and I loved the look. Wanted to play a priest and dwarf just so happened to also have the best racials for pve and pvp so the choice was made for me

Class: Because I enjoy the leveling experience as a warrior.
Race: Because I hate being CCd and the stun resist is really nice.
Faction: Because Horde has Shamans.

Horde because that’s what my Guild choose, druid because I thought the quests for my forms would be a lot better than they were ( extremely underwhelming). Taurens because druid.

i picked while i was drunk so there wasnt much reasoning behind it

Alliance because I don’t want to be a prototypical edgelord that the whorde embodies.

Warlock because it’s the only class I didn’t level to 60 in Vanilla (shaman don’t count).

Gnome because dwarves can’t be warlocks.

I chose horde because I’ve always been horde. Never got this concept where people want to play a fantasy game and choose a human. Also not a fan of elves or midgets. I specifically chose orc shaman because I was planning on going enhance even at 60 so + to axes is pretty big for enh shaman. However, guild needed heals for MC so here I am healing instead.

It being Classic, I remember how awesome Warriors were then. (Use to play rogue in Vanilla). Decided to give the grind a go.

Race, I like Humans mostly for their lore. Classic, I loved Perception and being able to be the bane of Rogues/Druids. Now I can double that terror being a Warrior.

Faction, I’ll be Alliance day one til they shut the servers down. While many flock to Horde, I uphold the King’s Justice. King’s Honor, For the Alliance!

You sound pretty edgelordy for not wanting to be a prototypical edgelord. Fight me, bro.

I don’t speak Retail. Anyone know what this thing is saying?

I really wanted to play a dwarf.

I also really wanted to be a druid.

So, I rolled a nelf druid on an rppvp server, made an RP backstory that he is a half-dwarf/half-nelf and made this concept art to help sell the idea:

Now I am talking in silly dwarf brogue while I eat people as a bear. Feelsgood.

Did you make that? It’s awesome!
Never played on a Rppvp server but sounds fun

Haha thanks dude! Yeah, I was studying a lot of wayne reynolds pathfinder art this month lol.

Rppvp servers are cool dude; I think people expect them to be a lot different than than what they find. I sense that folks expect it to be like one of those renaissance fair LARPing things, where everyone is in character all the time.

What I have noticed is that they feel a lot more like…people acting normal most of the time, and attaching themselves to themed guilds (example: dwarf clan that likes to wpvp assault [x] city and hates [x] guild) with a lot of the players focusing on organized wpvp events. Raiding is there and available for those who want it…and a lot of us will get around to it eventually…but our bread and butter is coordinating with guilds on the enemy faction to set up fun ways for us to mash each other.

I am not a huge rp guy. I don’t get in to character a lot. But, there are an extra few special layers of fun to playing on a high pop & balanced rppvp server. Right now, that is grobbulus.

I’m gonna think on making an alt there then, but obviously on the other faction.

Always played horde and wanted a change for classic wow.

I like the way dwarves look.

I like healing. ( even though I’m Ret)

Only thing I wish I can change is my toons hair color. Every male dwarf has white hair :0)

Haha sounds good. Lots of awesome guilds horde side over there.

I picked Hunter as it was a ranged class that seemed interesting to me with the pets. Having the pet tank is really nice as was having no downtime.

I chose Night Elf because I liked the more “nature” theme for the race. I also tend to like elves.

Allow me to translate.

Language doesn’t change between retail and Classic.

Class: Warlock … fell in love with it on pserver
Race: Gnome… I want to get punted
Faction: Alliance… have always been horde so now I get kinda sad when I gank my brethren… but it looks so much cooler on a pink hair gnome than my undead.
