They weren’t that powerful, not in the vast majority of cases.

Second, it was already on live, and there has been zero communication in regards to this change. That’s what people are mostly upset over.

I’m really tired of my stuff getting nerfed or changed, because a tiny fraction of the population complains.

my trinket didn’t just get “nerfed” it got nearly dropped to 1/4th of it’s power it was yesterday. With zero warning.

Obviously they were that powerful to warrant a nerf, and being live doesn’t save it from being nerfed, maining demo we experience many changes mid raid tier far more drastic then your simple trinket tuning literally the first day of the season.

I find this statistic extremely hard to believe that 20% of wow’s population has the first boss of a mythic raid dead (Unless we’re talking about earlier raid tiers?), but the severe drop off from 20% to 10% from the 1st to 2nd boss, makes me believe this doesn’t mean a huge population mythically raids.

Since I’m pretty sure most people don’t even bother with heroic.

The fact of the matter is that almost any population for a particular feature is going to be a minority in the game. Statistically speaking, few run LFR, Few Run Normal, Few Run Mythic. Overall they add up to a lot of people doing things.

However, gear is tuned so that Mythic Raid gear is at the top of the reward pile. It always will be.

Basically, yes their communication is often poor, and more then often their changes are done later then they should be.

Did it need changed, yes.

Should it have been done sooner? Absolutely.

But it’s day one of the season, it’s not a big deal, and could have came much later when people invested much more time into it mid tier.
