Everything we have done in this game is basically meaningless with the way you treat our power progression, we are now straight back to Vanilla numbers and levels, are you absolutely so misguided you can’t see that’s a poor choice? I don’t need to be doing billions of damage but are you serious I can see double digit numbers in these streams and that is an absolute insult to the time I have spent in this game. You are ruining this game for me and there is nothing I can do about it.

I really dislike how big the numbers have gotten and we’ve been scaled down twice before. At this point levels mean nothing and lower numbers are more readable IMO.

Power resets every expansion anyways. All your BfA mythics will be outmoded by Shadowlands greens. Power is only relevant in the expansion it’s current in. The scales and numbers change, but it doesn’t affect how fast or easily we kill things. The world moves along with us.
Weirdly people repeat the same reaction every squish. The sky is falling until it happens then within a week everyone adapts to the new norm and moves on. We’ll be fine.

You can almost say this every season when ilevel goes up. BiS suddenly becomes WQ or lfr gear. We’re on a treadmill. Nothing changes… we just keep chasing a new carrot.
Edit: if you really played that long you’ll remember when TBC greens replaced raid purples overnight.

I mean I don’t really get what you guys see as power progression, you think getting rotated back to 0 every time is positive? I understand we lose some stats and things when a new expansion begins but to just SLAM DOWN to doing double digit damage is disgusting. I enjoy doing old content also and it used to be a thing where you would actually have to be decent to complete it but now it’s just a stupid 1 shot of everything and that feels poor, it’s not fun to do stuff when its all just nerfed around you.

Too much attachment to visual numbers. We said that about Legion dmg in the MILLIONS… yet here we are not so long after.
You aren’t losing anything. Your achievements are still there… your experiences are still there… you just have a different number going into a new expansion…
Gain some perspective maybe.
