Why did you choose the class you play as your main?

Just curious, I rolled a warrior first because I wanted to do as much damage as possible in pvp and pve, then a mage because I wanted to aoe farm because it looked fun and Im poor. How about the rest of you?

Druid because of their playstyle and versatility.

Shapeshifting is one of the coolest things in-game, IMO.

I have x4 60’s but don’t consider any of them my main. I rotate & play my taste/preference at the time.

Ret paladin to shove in people’s faces that say it’s unviable :upside_down_face:

I mained a ret paladin in the very tail end of tbc, and throughout wrath. Loved it. So I leveled a paladin as my first class in classic, expecting to play ret. (in vanilla and most of tbc my main was a warlock, I never played a paladin that early on) boy was I wrong. Haha

After my paladin I leveled a mage as my first 60 alt so I could make that gold via boosting.

I chose a warlock to have a different experience than I had in Vanilla(Warrior). I also chose a druid because I wanted a stealth class, but didn’t want to play rogue again.

I also have a life this time around so I picked those two because they take way less effort to gear.

I play a lot of RPG’s, and I usually play a beefy warrior/barbarian type. I like wearing heavy armor and smashing stuff with weapons.

Priest kit seemed like a step back to me compared to retail but totems were gutted in modern wow for shaman so provides a much more refreshing experience here.

So groggy I read this as I married a ret paladin.

Because pink haired female gnome warlocks are funny :stuck_out_tongue:

And I didn’t want to go druid for classic until they get better treatment starting in TBC.

I wanted to roll Shaman since they announced Classic.

I loved the totems, Far Sight seemed like something that could help me find my way around, Ghost Wolf meant I could get a little movement boost before 40, people always want Windfury and I like being the guy to provide it.

Heals are amazing, damage is wonderful, and weapon enhancements are really fun.

Best class overall in my opinion.

I started as a Druid because that’s what I had played all during vanilla. Got to 60 and ended up being a heal bot and it wasn’t for me. Then I decided maybe I’d like to do melee and also liked the idea of tanking, so made a Warrior and got that to 60. Didn’t really enjoy that as much as I’d hoped (I really hoped for deep prot but that’s not really a thing). Then I discovered I loved world PvP, and the one thing I loved about my Druid was being able to stealth, so I tried a Rogue. Turns out I love this class so much and wish I’d just dine it from the beginning

I like to play the classes in games that are the least played.

Druids are the most versatile class. Makes them pretty amazing for solo world PvP and PvP in general. Also, they’re one of the 4 classes that can use Atiesh which I’ve worked very hard towards earning since launch day. And my hard work will soon pay off as I’ve been chosen by my guild .

I’m also pretty attracted to the fact they’re considered the underdog of all classes in vanilla. I like taking that and proving it to be wrong, at least so far as proving that a player can make a class much more valuable than what the meta considers them to be worth.

Every other class I’ve leveled to 60 has been to support my main in some way.

I leveled a hunter to 60 so I could have a good consistent gold farm through solo Dire Maul tribute runs.

Leveled a warlock to 60 for summoning. Sure I could have stopped at 20 but at 60 I don’t run out of mana and I’m quite a bit more formidable in PvP.

Leveled a mage to 60 for water, portals and for boosting my own characters on a 2nd account.

On my 2nd account I have a 46 rogue who will eventually get to 60 but for now I just farm herbs in Scarlet Monastery while I simultaneously do solo tribute runs on my hunter.

I played a hunter in Vanilla and mained it for years. I wanted to try something different this time so druid it was.

Druid is like others said are so versatile. I just have fun playing it. I love stealth for example in PVP and PVE and having the ability to self-heal etc. It has also been challenging to play in PVP which I like because I didn’t want something just easy to play. I wanted a hard to master class.

I do have some other chars I play quite a bit as well. Like my “alliance main” is a lock and I have like 75 days played on that character. I’ll put the druid as my main though so answer for that.

I main warrior because I think they’re the most fun, and they’re bosses in Classic. I was right, the dps is nutz. This guide really helped me, watched it before rolling.

I like being a ranged and I liked that warlocks have some self healing capability.

i chose paladin because they can use all armor and almost every weapon, can cast spells, can use shields, can melee, have a variety of different defensive abilities. paladin lets me play every part of the game as one class.
