Why did we get fat humans?

They are a PC tick box character for the body positivity nonsense. Reminds me of when I tried the SWTOR beta which had a body type control. Tons of fat jedi running around made the world seem absurd.

Oh god I know right. There was no way this guy was getting up the stairs but somehow he can jump around and fly with his lightsaber.
A racial talent for the overweight kul’tirans should make them walk slower and have less health.

Are you trying to say that overweight people can't walk up stairs? Are you kidding?

I mean, I get that being heavy isn't the healthiest thing but you're making it sound like this race is equivalent to "so overweight they can't stand up" and they're not. They have a bit of a pot-belly and aren't waifs.

I'm sure they can climb stairs just fine.

To each their own.

If you don't like them, don't play one. No one is "forcing" you.
my disappointment will be at an all time high if they dont come through with the skinny humans they showed us with the forsaken skeleton.
Because there's nothing wrong with being fat. In the old days weighing 473 pounds was a sign of wealth and prosperity. It's these unrealistic modern standards that are the problem. #stopfatshaming #473poundsishealthy #butter

Oh absolutely. I worked in healthcare and I saw it first hand.

They didn't take up the slot of anything, they have said repeatedly they are not shoehorning in allied races. They are adding races based on where the story currently is.

Void elves are pretty out of nowhere.

And regardless they can make ANYTHING work, it didn't have to be fat humans. They could have made mermaids work if they wanted to.

They could/should have just brought in Ethereal with Locus Walker. Would have been the best time and Alleria could have just ended up a shadow priest. We didnt really need a slightly purple elf race that was extremely forced when we had a perfect one since BC that could have been brought back. There were/are probably more Ethereal in that pocket void than Void Elves too.

As for KT humans, they already are looking to be more interesting and cool animation wise compared to the humans we have now. It's funny to see people complain about the addition of characterization.

That would have been cool, I don't know how armor would have worked for them though.

American players want characters that look like them: fat.

AKA Canadian, Australian, American, and much of the developed world's players want characters that look like them: fat.
This petty !@#$ is going to make them want to not do Allied races at all. These complaints just push them towards ignoring the system because it's a hassle, not righting your perceived wrong.

You need to start looking really long term in allied races, there's no way every time they pop up they can make them all look equally cool to everyone. Zandalar is one of the most impactful civilizations in the history of Azeroth. Kul Tiras is cool but it's not going to stack against a group that's gone so far as to get their own patch pretty much in Thrones of Thunder.

Imagine how people are gonna react if the go with the sneks and foxes? There's just no way to make that equal to people, opinions will be everywhere. Just roll with it.
we already know Kul’Trians can be Druids, so I’m making myself a Wicker Druid.

If they can be Pallys, well I have a tough decision to make, does this Pally become Lightforged or Kul’Trian??

If the images floating around are correct, I’m in love with the racial armor!
I've heard people say that of linemen in professional football. "Wow those guys are fat look at him, how can he move?" I usually reply, "yeah at 6' 9" 300+ lbs he is all fat and capable of ripping off both your arms and legs in about 45 seconds."

I thought they looked pretty cool. I saw the conception art with the guy that had some kind of blade thing instead of a wooden peg leg.
Being fat is bad for you. You can sugar coat it all you want, but having kids emulate successful fat people is not a great thing.

Being fat in video games should be similar to smoking. Yes, people do it, but its not something to promote, or even make it appear okay.
Oh and being a violent psychopath is good for you? I don't want any kid to emulate an Assassin Rogue. Playing a fat character is as likely to make you think fat is good as playing a Worgen will make you want to be a !@#$ing furry. Please.

If you're gonna take such an aggressive social stance on fat as a health issue then there are A LOT of potential health issues video games normalize, watch how far you open Pandoras Box.
Blizz made a race they thought their playerbase could relate to better. Its all about immersion. Pure, unmitigated, fat.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A FAT KUL TIRAN, THERE'S AN OPTION TO BE SKINNY, SKINNY LIKE AN UNDEAD WITH SKIN SKINNY.
As always, this is a baseless claim. No one from Blizz has ever said the skinny model was going to be available, and I can guarantee to you that it won't be.

Oh wow. You're such an altruist, all worried about my health.

...nah. I see through you. You don't give two kodo nuggets about that. Being "health conscious" is just a self righteous cloak you throw on when you wanna be hateful to to fat people.

Also... this is Nia Jax. She's built almost exactly like a KT female... I suspect her health is just fine.

Curious. Do people who pick Tauren seek to immerse themselves in BS? :D

Because the Horde would have been jealous if we got Vrykul. And making Horde jealous is a no-no
i would hate it if we got vrykul

Then don't make one. How old are you, four?

for your information I am 31

And as a consumer, I have the right to express my displeasure about the new content that I already pay.

Yes, I could not create one, but it seems unfair that an addition to the Alliance is made unpleasant and that really contributed very little to the variety that is sought, as I am sure few people will use them to be their Main.

Even my friends in the horde agree, with the fact that they will be very little used, I see no point in creating a little flashy model that really did not bring benefit to faction in the long run, nor to the game in general.

I do not like trolls, either, but at least the zandalari look majesticks, tough ones.

The humans of kultiras, look fat and little athletic, especially the female model.

And tbh, what bothers me most about the KT humans, is that they destroy the dream of many of having playable Vrykul, blizzard could have arranged the story in such a way that the alliance had Vrykul a long-awaited race, but instead we got a cheap copy

Btw I'm sure I've seen you giving your opinion about the model of the NB, it is obvious that they need work and you are one of those who support to give them a fix, it seems a little hypocritical that you say "do not use them" and then go to complain about the NB model.

Do you think the NB model needs work? do not use them then.
