They made some of the fights easier so they could then add affixes. Tell me that’s not kind of dippy?
Players: “We’d love to run some old dungeons as a challenge, because the nostalgia is great and scaling them to M+ would be fun!”
Blizzard: “Here, we’ll give you old nostalgia as a challenge, but we’re changing literally everything about it!”
My biggest gripe is they nerfed Mindbender.
They should’ve at least let the OG one in there for a few weeks

I’d love to see Vince Offer as a boss.
They did not change the trash going to the end boss enough.
Anyone dies, they drag more mobs to the group when they run back, if they survive.
The AOE dmg from the mobs is just nuts.
Throne of the Tides was ancient. It kinda had to be updated since mechanically it was closer to vanilla than it was to DF. Way too simple, even for a dungeon.
Plus I can’t imagine the snoozefest of old Neptulon would’ve been very enjoyable for M+.
Ozumat was stupid and boring.

I think they wanted it to be on par with other M+ dungeons.
The old version was incredibly simple.
I want to know who decided to bring back Throne of the Tides in the first place as a seasonal mythic + dungeon? That place was horrible back in Cataclysm. People always seem to be confused about the gauntlet right before the last boss as well. The only positive changes were the portal/elevator and the anglerfish corridor.
the gauntlet needs to be changed. it’s just awful. the dudes one-shotting people, the debuff that just stacks, the mobs respawn and refresh the debuff. the big eles do so much damage.

amen. it was a craptastic dungeon then, and it remains a craptastic dungeon. the bosses are better, but the dungeon still sucks.
Why do you think a dungeon designed back in like 2009-10 was already fit to just be thrown as a M+ dungeon without changes? Do people just not think at all before they post?
Isn’t this their way of bringing about “Classic” realms of old expansions? The whole “Oh you want to play classic WoW? Sure we’ll do that but we’ll be gutting things from it as we see fit and not caring if it was in that expansion or not.” Really kinda killed Wrath classic for me.
They changed things because people kept complaining about everything, people who either didn’t do the content when it was retail or didn’t like it most likely raised quite a lot of trouble demanding things be different for mythic plus. You ask me they’re like spoiled children thinking they can get their way if they complain. Wouldn’t be surprised if most were elves at this rate as they’re the most spoiled lately, except for nightborne for whatever reason
This boss was terrible back in cata. A group wiper haha. They really should have left it.
