Here my main reason, I slipped on the ice and broke my hand catching the fall. After 4 years it still hurts to play wow. Old school flying is easier for me. Aim and autofly.

The idea that others enjoy or need different things is one that people tend to learn very early in childhood. They see their peers enjoying something they donāt, or vice versa, and they realize it after this happens a few times.

If PF indeed only gives flight in the original 4 zones that would be simultaneously a riot and a laughing riot.
Please please please let it go live like that. They can always hotfix it later 
Itās not to people with accessibility issues. Some need normal flying.
And there is zero extra work. We already fly normally in Dragon Isles.

So I ask you this then:
Why not do anything flying at all and ride along
For motion sickness disable it in settings
Its justā¦ People complain that blizzard cuts corners and quality and so I point out that we had a solution for the ones who canāt tolerate dragon riding, since early this year
People rant that blizzard spends time on things people dislike
But these kinds of wasteful resources is ok per these forums
I play solo 99% of the time in open world. I would have to group with someone to follow. That would just be weird

Speaking of wasting resources, seems like every update they do something to help people with motion sickness. They know that itās really bothering people.
One would think it would be a lot simpler to let these folks fly slow.

Motion sickness settings did not work for me because the high speed itself also makes me nauseous. And I want to be able to play independently not have to depend on others who have their own things to do.

Because Blizz canāt let the pettiness go. Old flying has worked in DF since day 1, the ghost mounts use it when you die, they just needed to enable it. No pathfinder needed.

You do realize that people already go to ācontentā areas and donāt participate? Guess you never had to sit there for 40+ sec waiting for your drake to regain vigor before you could fly up some where?

Iād imagine because dragonriding mounts is still limited.

So only play the game when I have a friend available to carry me at all times. Canāt you see why someone might not want to do that?
Motion sickness is only one reason why someone might find dragonriding difficult.

Less about the speed and more about the convenience.
While yes itās nice to have a gourmet steak, I think every once in a while we want the quick and convenient Hot Pocket.

I prefer dragonriding but Iād rather fly my fox than a dragon (Iād really like it if Blizzard make a dragonriding fox mount or at least add dragonriding to my fox mount).
All that being said, dragonriding is substantially faster so I suspect people will still use it plenty. Nothing wrong with having options.
