weird how an expansion feature gets special treatment. I dunno, what seems off about that?
Complaining about pathfinder like you guys haven’t complained about it for the last 10 years.

TBC flying is in the spirit of the MMORPG.
DR is go go go mentality that is part of action RPGs.

Fair enough. ![]()
I am not looking forward to this. The one toon I’ve done anything on in DF zones was the evoker I used for the DF trials. I have rewnown 3 on one faction and renown 1 on another; that was as far as the first trial allowed me to progress story-wise. It was a trial, so I thought I’d try the new class instead of doing it on my main.
I used most of the DF trials doing dragonriding - getting the glyphs and spending a lot of time practicing it to give it a chance before deciding whether I enjoyed it or not. Dragonriding is not for me. I want nothing to do with it.
I’m going to wait and see how things on the PTR are finalized before going any farther in DF zones. It’s not impossible for things to change and I want to know exactly what needs to be done so that I can complete any requirements for unlocking regular flight as efficiently as possible.
“Pathfinder” Achievement needs to be removed
Amen too that…I still say its BS to lock it behind 6 reps now…Dragon flying was given out free to all players …it just some of tried and tried and tried to work it and it didn’t work for many…for me it put me back in my stiff hand wrist bracers again…I don’t need that pain or swelling …but I get it when I try to dragon flying…
Usually I have the “rep” requirement, or close to it, by the time a pathfinder rolls around. but this expansion, I think I have MAYBE 2 reps that are 15-17? I did the story, but that’s basically it. I think I wanted color from the Centaur people, so I repgrinded that one with caravan dailies and WQs and mostly the rep tokens from the Fyrak thing.
So this is probably the first pathfinder I just won’t have. I also feel 0 pressure to do anything to get it, because I have Dragonriding and quite honestly groan every time I have to use a non-dragonriding mount to fly.
Also, I’ve been playing WotLKC since RDF dropped and good lord I miss rep tabards. 98.1% of what I do in this game is M+. For the love of everything sugar and spice, give us rep tabards or ability to get renown in M+.
Its ok bro. Some players want ez mode because using a mouse is somehow challenging. As ling as DR is faster, i don’t mind a bit.
You are beyond delirious, and I’m tired of your insinuating this narrative.
Take a break before you get banned.
And dont bother replying, you are ignored.
Any more attenpts of personal attacks with the intent of social shaming is going straight to moderation.
Well telling disabled people to “learn2play” or “deal with it” when there is a simple and elegant solution to a problem aka TBC flying reveals everything to everyone reading this thread crystal clear.

That solution is coming. After we ALL complete Pathfinder to get it. There’s no way around it.
Lol what design do you think they had to come up with? That meeting probably was an email that took thirty seconds
Because, those with certain disabilities find it easier to move around with the condition they have.
Every person is different the way they can do things.
Exactly give people choice!
That is all.
A simple request.

Oh geez because the fact that you need to pay attention 100% of the time during dragon flight is precisely the reason they should make all other versions of flight annoying to attain. /boggle
Look in the mirror, sweetie. If you support changes to the game that have made it less accessible, and blame people who need that accessibility, you are the problem.
It’s “social shaming” to disagree with people who want the game to be designed to be less accessible to the disabled? And you’re claiming to be a blizzard employee, now?
Anyone is free to respond to your post, even if you think you are empowered to be a self-appointed hall monitor.
As far as rep and other requirements to date it is really difficult not to have it unless you have not been playing the game. As far as new stuff goes, as long as it is not throttled by reducing earnable rep (less for a quest and/or fewer quests), and/or kept gated by reset-locked steps to a storyline I’m pretty much ok. A day lock on a storyline is ok, but give the rate of rep gain, even under ideal conditions, would not make an impact anyway.
You aren’t taking into account both returning players and players who did a bare minimum of that garbage in the first place. I did instances, fyrakk, time rifts, and dream surges. None of which gain any rep. So stop saying “it’s just playing the game” because it’s actually “playing the game” down one narrow avenue of putting up with the story and doing yellow exclamations.
My point is, you can play the game around it. In which case it’s not just “playing the game.” It’s playing the game in a very specific way.
Both are groups people that did not play the game. I’m not penalizing anybody (or at least did not mean to sound that way) for their actions.
But in the case of people who just avoided the rep activities they unequivocally DID play the game. They just didn’t play the game the way you think everyone should.
