(Commentary): Vulpera were long requested and worked on from BFAâs launch. Mechagnomes were no doubt pre-planned and it was too late to stop and add something else after feedback regarding their lack of popularity reached the developers. If it reached the developers.

Because everyone is going to judge new additions based on their own subjective standards. For instance, I consider Kul Tirans superior to Zandalari trolls because Kul Tirans have far more technical work put into them due to their completely brand new skeletons and animations.
Mechagnomes, for the most part, boast that as well, with a large portion of their animations being completely new when compared to regular gnomes. But from an RPerâs perspective they might consider vulpera to be the more valuable AR just because lore dictates that they arenât an offshoot of any race currently in game.
Again, itâs all subjective.

Technically all Elves are all cousins to the Trolls. But as to your question, no idea maybe creating ânewâ races with new models is too much extra work for the dev team.

The Gilgoblins have fins and webbed hands that affected gear so they changed course to Vulpera.
Lol now thinking it well, Vulpera is the only race that isnât technically something based in other race, maybe Kultiran can be said the same tho? They arenât technically based on the human wow race, I guess

They could have came up with cyborg goblins or something like that to keep it balanced between the two factions.

This topic comes up just about everyday? and arent you also a brand new race? so both factions got one. alliance got kul tirans and horde got vulpera. all other ARs are âcousinsâ of a pre-existing race (i.e. same skeleton, rig, sometimes same animations too). You are technically a human cos its an alliance prerequisite (humans, short humans, shorter humans, shorter humans with mechanical bits, etc).

Well, there is a theory that they are pre-goblins.

You are a human with a brand new rig and skeleton and unique animations. In fact you do not have a donor race, youre 100% unique, whereas us vulperans got the original goblin skelly. You happen to be human only as a species because its an alliance prerequisite. All alliance are humans. (reg humans, fat humans, short humans, shorter humans, furry humans, etc).

Youâre the most unique model added to the game. You delayed the release of Z-Trolls.
If your logic is that âhuman is humanâ, then the alliance must have a really low amount of races compared to horde. Humans, bigger humans, shorter stumpy humans, shorter stumpy humans with darker skin tones, really small humans, and now really small humans with robot parts.
Sounds like the alliance only has like 3 races total. Maybe you should complain about that instead?
