Entitlement. Just look at the constant push and pull between raiding and pvp that has gone on.
- They whine that pvp gear is good at pvp and beg for nerfs to pvp gear.
- They complained that it was easier for pvp’ers to gear up with vendors so our vendors disappeared.
- They whine that they don’t want to carry multiple sets and we end up with stat templates.
- Then they whined that they couldn’t use their raid trinkets in pvp.
- Now they’re whining about people being able to gear competitively outside of raiding and they’re foaming at the mouth with tears down their face.
It’s pure entitlement. And they have some weird mindset where they are competing with not only fellow players in their raid, but everyone else in the game to declare THEY, and ONLY THEY, have the best gear. “haha sux it nub!”
The attitudes of raiders is why I stopped bothering with em midway through Cata. You sit and listen to harold talk about his cat licking itself for an hour while everyone waits for the pull. Then when the pull starts, as soon as one tiny thing doesn’t go according to plan, rage starts. I guess that through the misery they create for themselves, they want a better reward because of what they subject themselves to. Screw that.
