I earned my four seasons of Deathwalkers in Shadowlands. Now they are about 70% the size they were originally. To the point where my characters that ride them are actually smaller when mounted and returns to 100% the normal size when dismounted.
This became even more apparent with the new Blizzcon mount that also shrinks in size. Even my previous Dreadwake is about 70% the original size.
So why the change… now?

But I digress, previously when Blizzard makes changes to model sizes like 2H weapons or even Orc shoulder appearance size there is at least a mention in notes or hotfixes. Today there is… nothing…
Is it breaking something like character clipping in some functional way?
Are there so many help desk tickets from years past that the decision was made to decrease the mount size?
Can I at least be given an interface option to choose between the two?

My hypothesis is that, due to the new Blizzard/Blizzcon mount that is coming using the same rigging/skeleton, maybe it has something to do with that?
I didn’t do any M+ so I don’t have any of these mounts, but I recall them indeed being quite large.
Yeah, the new Blizzcon mount came out and the rig changed it for everyone.
Either a bug or intentional because the mounts were too big? Not sure.
Either not checking for, or not worried about unintended consequences.

Today i saw someone mounting the new Blizzcon mount and i said to me I do not like it is too small. I mounted on my deathwalkers and they didnt lose their size they used to have. At least in my point of view.
I noticed this yesterday and thought I was losing my marbles
Personally I don’t like it. It’s silly and kind of annoying that my character shrinks on the mount. It bothers me

I noticed that after using the experimental anima cell toy the other day then letting it expire, my hitbox was still fat as if I was somehow affected by the enlargement still.
I couldn’t get through the doorway to the inn in trade district until I relogged, despite no difference.
