I got an in game behavior warning when logging in for the 1st time in years. I had not typed anything in chat at this point. When I tried to get help from support I got 0 answer besides what felt like an automated message. I’m just trying to figure out how to not get banned, or if it is possible to get banned while doing nothing I need to unsub.

No one really know why you would have received such a warning. The warning probably would have happened when you were in the game years ago. If you haven’t logged in for years, you’re just seeing it now.

You have no achievements in classic, because achievements were not part of the game in the beginning.
You got a behavior warning for playing Classic but posting in retail.

I’m playing retail atm, that’s where I got the warning. I’m not sure how to let the system know how to change my readout, I’m of lower intelligence so sorry.
No you’re not. Just cause people on the forums are overly skeptical of everyone doesn’t mean you’re stupid.

Maybe in bg someone reported you for something or your name
People are weird and think it matters what character you are posting on and which version of the game of the game it’s from.
Most of the regulars here live in their own little world. Just ignore them.

A “warning” means that one or more people reported you for something but not enough to pass the threshold for an automated action. If it’s chat related, you will get squelched for up to 7 days if enough people report you in a short amount of time. If you do get squelched a Blizzard employee will review the reports and determine if additional actions are needed.
I wouldn’t worry about a warning because they are meaningless although it is interesting that they reported without you saying anything in chat. Is your name questionable?

I remember back when league of legends had their forums.
People would always say things like “idk why i got punished etc etc”
play 100% innocent.
Then a riot employee would post their chat log into the thread, exposing them hilariously.
We need that here.

It was that hyperspawn farm group you told us about before. You didn’t do anything wrong, so don’t worry about it.

There is a pattern with classic characters with no posts popping up with trolling threads. So the skepticism…while unfortunate…is warranted.
