Why Did Elune Let Teldrassil Burn?

Ok so let’s start with this: Elune has powers over the tides.

There’s a Darkshore quest where the Twilight Hammer is enslaving Water Elementals from the sea and you use Elune’s powers over the tides to send them back to the sea.

Elune could have used those powers to stop the fire.

I’m not saying she should have hit Teldrassil with a tsunami. That would be stupid.

But she could have sent those tide elementals to put out the fires.

Yet Elune did nothing. She let the Night Elves burn.

And now she is supposedly helping them with their Vengeance by turning Tyrande into a mean Shadow Priest.

And that’s all fine but… Wouldn’t it be better if they didn’t have anyone to avenge to begin with?

Elune is dead. She was secretly sleeping under Silithus in the Chamber of the Heart; that’s why Sargeras chose there to stab.

Elune asked the Night Elves for a shrubbery.

When she didn’t get one she let Teldrassil burn.

Elune is a sadistic goddess.

Cause Elune like all gods are giant jerks and relish in the sight of mortals suffering which is why we need to knock em off their high chair I mean come on who’d worship a deity that got knocked up by a deer?

To be fair, we wouldn’t have Dryads if that hadn’t happened.

And Dryads are one of the best things this world has to offer. They are adorable!

When a Deity starts to interfere, things get messy. Gifting Tyrande some power and letting her clean up the mess is honestly the best way to go about it; you start doing one miracle and folks start to expect it of you. Again, and again, and again, and again.

Eventually you just become complacent and lazy, waiting for some higher power to solve all your problems instead of putting in the work to do it for yourself.

I think it was an orc head she decapitated from the video.

Only reason that I can think of Elune would allow Teldrassil to burn is it with a cycle in time. There have been alot of references to time and alot of interesting cut scene that relate to this. Elune knew this was going to happen.
