Just looked at S1 M+ dungeons, and all the other 4 dungeons suck , they had way better dungeons from SL and BFA im surprised they didnt throw in Shrine in there lol
What do you mean, literally nothing but bangers
Time to redownload that Mists of Tirna Scithe addon for the maze puzzle I see… or was that a weak aura? That puzzle is annoying. Pug groups always seem to fail at it too.
Tirna Scithe is one of my fav dungeons of all time. Good stuff.
Ah well, the rotation won’t last forever.
Not thrilled SL dungeons are already back in the mix… But, it is what it is. At least they didn’t do Sanguine or Plague Fall. Those two dungeons were so obnoxious.
Other than that, I enjoy the new Grim Batol! Siege of Boralus was not on my favorite list from BFA, but meh, it is what it is.
slands dungeons were goated im glad theyre back
Yea i know the maze was fun and the 3rd boss was fun too, not
I dont consider any dungeon post-Legion to be “legacy”, the only one out of all of them Id give that title to is the Cata dungeon and its probably only there because Cata Classic is currently a thing.
I hate the fact that SL dungeons are old enough to be considered refreshed content.
I’m glad they’re at least doing something with the old content instead of letting it rot.
I’d really like to see them add m+ versions of longer dungeons like they used to, or perhaps even the mega dungeon as one wing and just crank the rewards up accordingly, for those that have more time.
yeah they are using 0.1% of the content, and letting the other 99.9% rot.
Happy to see old dungeons in the rotation still, not happy to be going back to Shadowlands content. The only upside is I already have the teleports for the SL dungeons so I can take advantage of that the entire season.
I can see many people leaving groups without killing the first boss of Siege,
I hated siege. Is it still a buggy mess? I remember keys being ruined by some sort of bug.
Grim Batol and Siege of Boralus are fine. Could really do without SL dungeons though since SL wasn’t that long ago.
Also interestingly the legacy dungeons chosen are usually relevant to the theme of the patch, but i can’t see any connection between Siege, Necrotic Wake, or Mists. Grim Batol is at least a dwarven city.
Unless it’s foreshadowing something
Siege was Lady Ashvane’s attempt at a coup. Lady Ashvane was working for Azshara. Could be alluding to Azshara’s return?
Mists had a couple things going on. The Drust controlling the first boss, Someone playing a prank on us with the maze, and the Gorm. Could be alluding to a Gorm infestation on Azeroth? They only eat things without anima and could devour worlds when let out of the Shadowlands. Or maybe the Drust returning again? Or maybe they just want to remind us of Ardenweald as a whole because Vol’jin is there and we haven’t seen him in a bit.
And then there’s the Necrotic wake, which only really had one thing going on. The forces of Maldraxxus invading Bastion to steal their anima. Maybe the necrolords will make an appearance soon? Or the Kyrian? Pelagos? Or maybe they want to remind us about anima for some reason.
Dawnbreaker and Mists?
Kill me now.
Grim Batol I think is good, but I’m with you on the rest. We are just getting over BFA, and we will never be over Shadowlands. Why are you giving us those dungeons again?
Really wish they gave us Akhn’Kahet: The Old Kingdom and Azjol-Nerub as mythic dungeons this season. Yes it would mean 4 dungeons with nerubians, but at least its fitting.
I really would’ve preferred a refresh of these dungeons over a refresh of Grim Batol. If only so Anub’arak could have an actual boss fight that isn’t a PITA to do during leveling. Like an actual one, where he actually does things besides burrowing.
“GOAT” is a stretch, but even in “bad” expansions, the dungeons are usually predominantly good. I’m not going to hold the expansion’s dungeons as bad just because Shadowlands was narrative-gore.
