What did Wraithion have to do with the death of Anduin’s father?
Guess I am turning to Nobble the Noble for answers, but if you have theories of your own feel free to share

In the book War Crimes, I believe it was Wrathion that gave Kairoz the idea (or otherwise assisted) to free Garrosh, which led to WOD, which led to Gul’dan returning, which led to Varian’s death.
Wrathion aided Kairozdormu and Garrosh so they could create AU Draenor. That resulted in AU Gul’dan escaping to our reality and opening the portal for the Legion invasion that killed Varian.
There’s also the problem with how all of MoP was Wrathion worried about a Legion invasion happening in the future. Then a Legion invasion happened and he was nowhere to be found.
So in short, he blamed the Butterfly Effect?
I also think he was just bitter about his best friend at the time ditching him. Mix that with Nzoth influence and Anduin’s reaction becomes more understandable.
No, Wrathion freed Garrosh, which led to Gul’dan arriving on Azeroth and thus Varian’s death. Wrathion is semi-directly responsible.
He blamed Wrathion for setting the chain of events in motion that killed his father. If he hadn’t freed Garrosh, we would’ve never had the Iron Horde to fight, and there never would’ve been Gul’dan around to summon the Legion and kill his father.
Anduin’s reaction was very normal if you ask me.
Don’t forget Wrathion says: “I deserved that.”
He helped kickstart the events of WoD. Aka giving us Gul’dan back who killed Varian.
He helped kickstart the events of WoD
Oh in that case, Anduin didn’t need another reason to punch him, that’s reason enough given how bad that expansion was lol
I’m sure Anduin was just really angry about his stupid cute smirk. And those super annoying luscious curls. And those obnoxious, deep red eyes. And his dumb tall, fit figure.
It’s not like he likes him or anything, b… baka!
You could call it the butterfly effect if his actions weren’t to try and win a war against the legion.
He is the responsible of WoD… he deserves a death sentence imo.
Gul’dan wasn’t around to punch and Wrathion was a decent alternative.
It’s directly Gul’dan’s fault that Varian died, it’s indirectly Wrathion’s so Anduin’s a bit angry about that, as you would be.
… but we freed Gul’dan at the start of WoD! And Varian agreed to keep him alive for a trial when he could’ve killed him! Where does it end?!
It ends when we reach the wrongful action. In this case, the only thing wrongful was to release a criminal on what was basically a bet.
Nothing compared to Sylvanas thats responsible for BFA
She deserves the most painful death possible
I think it’s ridiculous that they tried to place the blame on Wrathion. If he’s responsible for the entire chain of what happened after he freed Garrosh, then should we also credit him for the liberation of Suramar and the defeat of the Legion?
Because of Wrathion, Garrosh almost killed him and then lead to Gul’dan coming to Azeroth and killing his father. Seems like a good reason to blame Wrathion to me.
