What they didnât show is that that kid was a true Sith Lord and Palpatine didnât want the competition. Thereâs a super secret 1 hour cut of Anakin fighting that kid. Thatâs why he lost to Obiwan. Not because of any high ground shennanigans, but because he was exhausted from the true epic battle of the saga.

Memories a bit fuzzy but, he was convinced the only way to save Panda bear was to do exactly as Palpatine told him and as such, was willing to throw away everything for her. He kinda slept through greek tragedy class though which is why he didnât see why what he was doing was exactly whatâd get potawatami killed.
