Literally, this MVP is nothing but a troll and people need to start reporting them as such.
Absolutely not.
If this was the case, the game would no longer be a game.
Part of the enjoyment is supposed to be working past obstacles and improvement over a long term.
If things you want conflict with this, do not expect them to be considered.
**All this talk about “lies” and “untruths” just tells me you need a break. *
And you know so much about me too…
Obstacles that are simply there to pad time are useless, unintuitive obstacles. Period.
Sounds like this is not the game for you then.
The whole game is built around this concept from the ground up, right?
I think they secretly wanna be replaced. They’re not even worth calling developers. They just wanna see how can their waste their consumers time until the game goes dry.
You know people are pissed when Metro’s posts get buried like the drek and rubbish they are.
or was it?
Let them be mad all they like.
Use that frustration as a tool for learning.
The quicker you do, the happier your life will be.
I wouldn’t bother with this one. They are a sycophant through and through, and your time is far too valuable. Plus, you need to collect those bars. Nothing like a good obstacle to work past, amirite?
No, it isn’t, actually. Before they actually had some sort of meaningful content built around obstacles, and things that weren’t there to pad time metrics.
“Just don’t play it!” is the most disingenuous refutation to any complaint ever. A company’s best interest should be in maintaining how their consumers feel. Eventually, when they all figure out how garbage it all is, they stop playing.
Complaining is literally the final step before quitting in hopes that they might change the content to make it a little more FUN to them. It’s a game, Metro. It’s supposed to be fun, not to be filled to the brim with useless activities.
Simply because you find enjoyment in the grinds does not make other player complaints null.
Oh yes let me spend 30+ minutes for one singular daily for essential stygia. Yes, this is a meaningful obstacle indeed. I have to really put my thonker to it.
I have seen it a million times as a GM and content creator of 12+ years.
People who talk like this are not going to be happy no matter what happens.
The only reliable way I see to fix it is to reset perspective and get a fresh mental start.
Even if Blizzard gave you exactly what you asked for, with this mentality in tow, you might then shift blame to a new area of unhappiness.
I hear your words, but it still won’t calm down anything. Just makes people rather leave the platform something Blizzard don’t want or maybe it does? You can voice your opinion, but it’s not solving the overall result.
True to an extent, but it really depends on what they deliver. When the tone is set this way it’s not really balance. The atmosphere here been suffocating for awhile now, but we all can agree this is under Ion’s formula with the game.
This is all just pessimism.
It IS fun, and it hasn’t changed significantly over the years.
If you don’t find it fun, explore why and trace the facts.
If you are sure something has dramatically changed, then you have your reason at least.
I find most people don’t find a reason though.
Just a general “everything is bad.”
And that is something only you can solve.
And yet the issue here, is a failure by the Developers to know the difference between gamer frustrations and intentional frustration of purpose. One is completely acceptable. The other can be argued in court.
Uh yes, it was.
If it wasn’t, you would log on for the first time with a level 60 fully geared and all content unlocked, right?
Why are you, as a MVP, continually telling people to quit the game?
People have years invested in this game and legitimate complaints about the way Blizzard is handling it right now.
Green fanboy text isn’t helpful as a response.
Lmao. Imagine looking at blatant time padding and saying “it’s still fun, it’s just changed (:” Yes, I really do want to compete with other players on quests where the baseline for the majority of quests and WQs are not like that.
I literally don’t care about doing grinds. I do care when it’s so unfruitful that it nets me like 20 anima for my efforts. I’m not quitting because I love this game and I want to see it strive and do well and to have fun with my friends and guildmates- who have all been dealing with insurmountable burnout. Gee, I wonder why?
Anyway. Not debating with you any longer. Enjoy relentlessly supporting Blizzard and doing it all for free.
100% agree. This was a needless and stupid change to the ingot quest.
This biggest mystery is how Metro is still a MVP, Especially when he got busted on stream exploiting Sanguine depths
