Im genuinely confused as to why everyone feels the need to post on a forum about when they lose battlegrounds.
Is this a result of everyone getting a 7th place trophy? Do all of you assume you are soooo good at the game but the ONLY reason that you are losing in wsg is because you are ina PuG facing a premade?
Both factions…stop crying about PuG vs Premade in wsg. Its part of the reality of life. There will be people who are better than you tactically, there will be people who are more geared than you, and there will be people who are sweatier than you. Get over it. Its a game.
IF you are losing for two straight hours with no honor gains and posting about it on the forums, then you are bad at PvP and should probably find some other source of fun.
If you are truly only PvPing for fun, then you wouldnt focus on the honor gains. If you are PvPing for honor gains, then you should be competent enough to know when you are outclassed
I like playing baseball. I want to play baseball and have a good fun game. If half of the time the other team is at bat they start with a runner on second I am going to complain about it being unfair.
People want to at least have the illusion of fairness, the illusion of having a shot at winning, even if they lose.
Sorry, If you like playing baseball you should be good at baseball. Since there are no separate leagues here, if you cant compete with the majors, then you should prob switch to tee ball or just accept that you are gonna lose the game
People complain about the game because they love game and want it to be better. Everyone’s idea of better is different, so sharing your personal feedback is important.
What is it with the Alliance and instantly assuming anyone with a slightly different opinion is a Horde in disguise. Everything is one massive conspiracy theory.
If you have spent any time on the forums at all, you know Twinkle…and has been advocating for Alliance premades for like a month. If you haven’t been on the forums that long, simply looking at the post history could have shown you that too.
But PvP’ing for fun implies winning. There’s literally zero fun in the gameplay of this game if you’re not winning, and since the design itself creates unwinnable situation it just feels like people are dealing with an annoyance that shouldn’t exist.
Not everyone just enjoys getting bent over and slapped around for no valid reason.
As for the OP, some that complain… yes, they just want to win so they feel good and get more rewards… yada yada
But many more just want competitive BGs, w/l doesn’t matter. They bring up the # of losses to point out how this is not what we are getting.
Vanilla was in no way ‘fair’ (gets defined in different ways, just leave it at that) but with all the circumventing to speed up HPH, well, we have a really bad PvP game now.
For most it is not worth playing. Don’t you think that is a problem? You may not, but it is pretty clear this kind of poor gameplay will mean a quicker end to WoW classic than most were hoping for (well, classic pvp at least, who knows how long the pve side will go for). I personally don’t care, I can have fun in wow classic while never joining another 60s BG ever again, and other MMOs are coming out. But some do want this to be better and to last. So they come to the forums. They may not say it properly but that is what they want, the game to be more enjoyable and to last. And yeah, some suggestions/comments are unhelpful/bad but ActiBlizz should take notice.
On the other side of that coin though people complained about premades for everything that is wrong with AV. Blizzard did everything they could to make it “fair” now people are getting bent over and slapped around worse than before.
So, why complain about it? Obviously complaining only makes matters worse.
The reality is…you either ARE competitive, or you are not. It’s really that simple. There will always be a skill gap, and it seems like the majority of complaints stem from the fact that this gap exists in the first place.
If you were to make it so premades only face premades, then you will still have bad premades go up against high warlord premades. There will be complaints when you are unlucky enough to run into a bunch of these.
Additionally, you would have complaints that casual folks can’t play with their friends in a premade without having to face another premade. IE only you and two friends want to join but now you are forced to face a full team of 10.
Basically, to have the illusion of an actual level playing ground, you would need a legit bracket system to the pvp activities and we all know that’s not a part of classic.
I’m not quite sure what all of the complaining about losing would accomplish as you will never have a system that separates the casual player from the sweaty ranker, and a lot of us like it like that. Personally I’m not a big ranker but I like to play with the big boys in my guild from time to time and enjoy facing hardcore premades even if we get rolled.
Challenging content is fun and exciting to some people…
I like how you infer Blizz making something “fair” is a bad thing. Fair BG’s are critical to the health of the game and I’d expect Blizzard to continue to fix exploits moving forward.
It’s sad to see players devolve to abuse the system to figure out how to premade vs pug a BG. Started in AV, was fixed, now those same people are doing it in WSG via queue dodging until pitted against a pug.
Hopefully Blizz can address this too as it’s creating a lot more harm than good overall.
