would love to see some of these gogogo Mythic+ runners be forced to get on a list just to join a group for 1 of the 5 or so leveling spots in zone then sit back, watch tv or talk in your race’s language (to teach it to others) during downtime waiting for mobs to respawn. The gameplay was slower then

I understand how that can seem nice but it sounds like a truly awful experience.

I’m sure it was fun back then but that was probably because there was literally nothing else.
