WoW has passable water if you set it to ultra, but it’s a big FPS drop.

Passable. That’s the issue. With the money WoW pulls it, it could be -gorgeous-… and optimized better.

I can see some of that, the problem is I can’t make out what it is, where it’s at, what game it is, etc.

Ngl, I don’t find that appealing at all.

That’s far too reflective. With cartoony graphics, cartoony water fits… SOME reflection would be fine, but more like “Simba in the lion king ‘loook haaardaa’” levels instead of ULTRA SKYBOX LIKE A MIRROR YOU CAN SEE SMELLS level water.

A reflective top surface of water like regular water, then the idea of slightly tinted water when under it like it currently is now in Theramore and such?

You do know the entire reason the walk on water trick works for magicians is specifically because water has those properties, yes?

Yeah, WoW has the weirdest looking water in any game that I have played. It doesn’t even look wet. It looks like some kind of amorphous slime. Or gelatin or something. I don’t know what’s up with it, but it just doesn’t look right.
