So, all this tells me is it’s possible for alliance and horde to queue for content together if Blizz is patching that ability OUT of remix. So my question is why? At this point why can’t we just group and do whatever with our friends regardless of what they’re playing?

It was likely causing some kind of bugs for their systems. Otherwise it likely just would have gone under the radar without much mention. Most don’t even pay attention to their groups in que’d content.
It’s why they roll out cross faction stuff in stages. They have to work on the code that keeps that Faction divide so strict.
I vote next time they do some Remix type junk they give you all your own forums.

Becauce they want to keep the game as anti-social as possible. Playing with others is too much fun! Same for having all races neutral without that outdated racial segregation system that forces you into faction, that you might not even like. Can’t have that in WoW.

Because I had to hear Mekkatorque’s grating voice at the end of a SoO once instead of Vol’jin’s soothing tones and it upset me enough to ring up Blizzard and ask them to put an end to it.

This has more to do with just remix, just because it happened on remix doesn’t mean my question is contained to remix.
I think the reason they gave, for the main game anyways, was faction exclusive dungeons/view points.
Like isn’t there an alliance only BFA dungeon or something?
It’s a silly reason to not to cross faction lfg though. If the group lead is alliance it’s the alliance version. If they are horde it’s the horde version. Barring any bugs it’s an easy peasy fix to that issue.

Yeah, I dont think Battle of Dazaralor is a reason to stop every instance from being cross faction. Your solution makes perfect sense.

It’s not just that one. I swear there was an alliance exclusive dungeon or something in BFA, I remember having to do it to unlock kultiran or something. I cant remember.
Regardless it seems like an easy work around assuming they can get it to not have bugs.
Hell, mercenary mode is right there for pvp. Would a pve version be that difficult?
This is a perfect solution. Not being able to cross faction queue with friends is horrible, especially for content like remix. I’ve been waiting for this feature for years!
Yes! I play in a horde guild on a high pop horde server. I’d much rather be alliance, but with professions needing trade chat to find work orders, I don’t want to miss out on that. Just let factions mix. It doesn’t ruin my immersion!

This really bites . I have friends who are Alliance ( Yuck ! ) . I do not care for the Alliance , but i do care for my friends . I love the horde , but my friends do love the Alliance .
I have known this Alliance player since we were 15 years old . I thought we were both be Horde because our attitude towards life . I was truly wrong . lol
First time playing together in a raid in over 20 years because of the cross faction . I’m loving it . Playing with my friends and playing an Arms Warrior for the first time in Remix in Mists of Pandaria . I am starting to realize that a warrior is ok , but not for me . I have always been a hunter / mage .
