Why cant we create horde/ally on the same server?

Seema kinda out dated. I wanna create a shaman but cant since i have alliance.

So is the pricing structure. Pay for a second account, and you can roll both Alliance and Horde on the same server. Food for thought.

I created a gnome on the same server as this priest. It’s totally possible.

I don’t really feel like playing the gnome, but I’m happy knowing it’s an option, lol

There is a way. Alt+f4. If that does not work, click the portal.

You can only have both factions on PvE servers in Classic.

If it’s a PvP server all characters have to be the same faction.

Because people like myself would level both factions and camp anyone who stole my quest mobs. And then same faction players would be salty as heck.

I think the reasoning was so that you couldn’t log onto an alt to kill someone on your own faction. Eventually Blizzard removed the restriction, but it was sometime after vanilla.
