Spark of engenuity + shadow flame spark. It would be like 2+2=4 instead of 2+2=2. It could give us a super duper spark and let us boost our gear to like 460. Would also make sparks of ingenuity relevent againt. Please blizzard consider this?
when Yugi combined the Blue eyes ultimate dragon with the dead mammoth, the end result was weaker…

Considering new sparks of ingenuity are no longer obtainable, I don’t think they will make them relevant again when they release a direct, linear upgrade to replace them.

not a good idea to punish players that used all their sparks last tier
would reward players who somehow had a ton of last season sparks but never used any of them
sorry, but unless everyone has access to it, its not a good idea. the current sparks allow everyone to get a 447 every two weeks. thats fair enough.

No, adding a weaker and less prestigious quality of metal into a higher quality metal actually brings it down.
So instead of 2+2=4, youre more looking at 1+2 = 3/2 =1.5. Quality goes down overall
Why stop at 460… why not, say, turn it up to 9000!!!1!
They set the item level cap for a season to have a modicum of power growth control. 460 is out of line with that control since the “super duper spark” is too easy compared to “very rare” loot off the last two mythic raid bosses.
