Why does mythic SoD still requires 20ish people?

Why cant you give us a massive damage/mitigation buff in old content?

You cant even attempt to form a group because i simply cant fill up a group, no one applies.
A simple fix that won’t be done because blizzard loves to gatekeep stuff, bravo.
Because it’s not that old, we haven’t outscaled it yet.
You can solo it with good enough gear.
There is one, but it’s only in legion content and below, and only to offset the item level squishes in order replicate the gear scaling you’d normally have.
That’s because everyone is still busy doing the new stuff. Wait until the end of the 1st season when the content is all on farm, you’ll find a lot more people.
Two expansions ago content is old enough to be able to be stomped. Literally no reason for it not to be.
SoD (Sanctum of Domination) was just last expansion
I know Shadowlands felt like it really dragged on but it was only one expansion

it should be soloable or doable with 2-3 friends tops.
This is gatekeeping and bad design.
SoD is from SL, it’s not that old. You can already stomp content from two expansions ago via outecaling it with gear.

You can solo old content once you outscale it with gear, that’s what allows you to measure your character growth.

You could solo antorus, tomb, and nighthold in SL. Mythic jaina still required a group in SL.

Its what companies do when they are bleeding subs. Its a sad attempt to keep people longer but it usually has the opposite result. Seen it done in many games.

In fairness, unless I’m missing something they increased BfA scaling to 60 with Dragonflight, so it’s still in the same position it was with Shadowlands
Shadowlands is still current for people who don’t pay or the new expansion. Plus the tuning changes started to do in bfa to make legion mobs harder in 8.1, and ruin legendaries to “push” people from 110. Leads me to believe Blizz doesn’t want to give up the cow until it becomes the 3rd most recent expansion.
Bfa should genuinely get changes obviously but you are wasting your time trying to do that for SL.

No telling. It’s still too early to tell. You couldn’t solo legion raids at the start of SL. We’ll be able to see scaling better when people get above 400ilvl.
